This document outlines the set-up for integrating the InfiPlex OMS with your Etsy Store.

InfiPlex Etsy Quick Set-up

The Etsy Quick Set-up involves using the InfiPlex OMS Etsy App credentials rather than setting up your own application. If you would prefer to create your Etsy App credentials, you can follow the instructions further down on this page.

 

• It is highly recommended that you use the InfiPlex Etsy App to quickly set-up your Etsy store connection.
• Get your Store ID: You can find your Store ID by accessing your profile page from your Etsy dashboard. The link in the URL field will look similar to this - etsy.com/profile.php?user_id=XXXXXXX. Copy the Number after "user_id=". That is your Store ID. If you have any questions you can also contact Etsy at developer@etsy.com and ask them for your Store ID. The Etsy Store ID is required in your Etsy settings located in the Settings > Base Settings > Etsy settings area.
• Add your Store ID and turn your Etsy connection settings on:
  • etsy_shop_id - This is your Etsy shop id. An example of a Etsy shop id is: 15909127
  • etsy_oauth_consumer_key - LEAVE BLANK
  • etsy_oauth_consumer_secret - LEAVE BLANK
  • etsy_pull_orders
    Set this setting to YES to pull your Etsy orders into the OMS.
    
    Click the link to connect your OMS to your Etsy store. You will see a pop-up window that will ask you to log into your Etsy account and confirm to give InfiPlex OMS access to your account.
    
  • etsy_send_tracking_numbers - This controls if tracking numbers are sent back to Etsy.
  • etsy_soe_enabled - This controls if inventory levels are sent to Etsy on selected SOE products.
  • etsy_soe_pricing_enabled - This controls if pricing is sent to Etsy on selected SOE products.
  • Save - Click the Save button to save the settings.

 

Set-up Your Own Etsy App with InfiPlex OMS

Creating your Etsy store application will require additional time to set-up compared to the Quick Set-up above. With this option you have to generate your own set of keys from Etsy and then go through their confirmation process for your App.

 

• Go to https://www.etsy.com/developers/ and login with your existing Etsy store administrative user account.
• Click the Create a New App in the Your Developer Account menu.
• Follow the instructions on the Create a New App page to complete your App set-up. Please note that the OMS is compatible with the new Etsy Inventory Management API.
• Etsy will save your App information and give you a consumer key and secret key that will need to be added to the OMS settings area. These two fields are left blank in the default set-up shown above.
• Once you have access to your keys, you should be able to set the connection up in the OMS settings area. Please note that you will not have to "Request Full Access" for your app since you alone will be using it.

 

Required Set-up for Etsy Products with Variations

SKU Numbers: In order to manage inventory for your products with variations, you MUST set-up each variation with a unique SKU number. It is possible to add variations without a unique SKU number in the Etsy seller portal, but this will not allow InfiPlex to update your inventory. Please review your product variations to confirm that they all have a unique variation SKU number.

Quantities Vary Setting: All products set-up as variations in Etsy MUST be set-up to allow "Quantities vary". If this is not done, then you will get an inventory update error of "One offering must have quantity greater than 0". Reference this Etsy help video on How to Add Variations for Your Listings. Download New Etsy Product ID's for Inventory

After you have created new product listings in your Etsy account, follow the steps below to make sure that InfiPlex is set-up to push inventory levels for your new SKUs.

• Make sure that your new SKU has been added to InfiPlex and associated to Etsy
• Go to the Sell On > Etsy page and click the purple Download Etsy Products button.
• This will pull down all of the required product ID's from Etsy that allow us to push your inventory levels to Etsy.
