Newegg Marketplace set-up

Last Updated: Oct 03, 2022

The InfiPlex Inventory and Order Management System (OMS) can be connected directly to your Newegg marketplace account. This allows the system to pull your Newegg orders into the OMS and send tracking numbers and inventory updates back to Newegg.

Newegg Set-up

Follow the steps below to sign-up for a Newegg Seller Account and get your access keys:

  • Join the Newegg Marketplace or Login if you have an existing account.
  • Once you have signed up and been accepted, you will need to get your account set-up and your products uploaded into Newegg. Their on-line Quick Start Guide will give an overview of all the steps that are required to set-up your account to start selling. If you need assistance with this, our data team can get your account set-up and products loaded for your. Please contat for set-up quote.
  • Getting Your API Keys:
Your API keys can be found in the Manage Account > Data Feed Settings page in your Newegg seller portal. Click on the Auth a Developer tab and then click on the orange "Authorize" button to authorize InfiPlex as a Service Provider. A pop-up window will give you the option to select InfiPlex and the click the Authorize button to authorize InfiPlex. It may take a minute and you can then refresh the Auth a Developer list to view the new InfiPlex API Secret Key. The Secret Key for InfiPlex is what you need to use to make your connection in the OMS.

If for some reason you do not have access to the API information, you will need to contact your Newegg Marketplace seller account manager to obtain your Newegg API credentials. Requests for API Access need to be sent to datafeeds@newegg.com. Please include in your email that InfiPlex is your API Service Provider. Your account manager will send you your API and Secret key.

    Switching Service Providers:
If you are switching to InfiPlex from another service provider, you can authorize InfiPlex and then disable your other service provide via the API Settings tools. If you don't see the API Setting tools, you will need email datafeeds@newegg.com to request a new set of keys for InfiPlex.

  • Add the keys to the Settings area for Newegg, located at Shop/OMS > Settings > Newegg in your admin area:
    • newegg_secret_key - contact your Newegg account manager
    • newegg_seller_id - contact your Newegg account manager. Also shown on the Business Report > Summary page in the Newegg portal
    • newegg_pull_orders - set to yes to start pulling orders
    • newegg_send_tracking_numbers - set to yes to send tracking numbers back to Newegg when an order is updated with tracking information
    • newegg_son_enabled - set to yes to send inventory updates to Newegg. You must also update the OMS with the SKU's that are listed on Newegg. Use the Shop > Tools > SKU Utilities to upload a list of SKUs and associated them to Newegg. The OMS's list of associated Newegg SKUs MUST match the SKUs that are on Newegg in order for inventory levels to be sent back to Newegg.

    Save the settings

  • After you save the settings, the system will start connecting to Newegg and asking for orders if you have activated them per the settings above.
  • Checking the Logs:
You can access a log report to view your Newegg connection logs. Go to Shop > Tools > Log and the select Newegg: Any Log in the drop-down. If your API connection is working, you will see a log that says "Newegg Get Orders: Successful".
