You can use a Stripe.com merchant account with your InfiPlex Webstore. This article outlines how to connect a Stripe account with InfiPlex to accept credit card transactions.
Application Fee: The InfiPlex - Stripe.com integration includes an application fee of 0.5%, making the standard transaction fee with your Stripe.com account 3.4% (2.9 + 0.5). This covers ongoing support and feature requests for this integration.
Stripe.com Merchant Set-up
Follow the steps outlined below to activate your merchant connection with Stripe:
- Log into the InfiPlex admin area
- Click on the wrench icon in the upper right to access the Admin Tools area
- Scroll to the bottom of the list of Admin Tools and click System Merchant
- Enter the following values in the Merchant Settings form:
- Merchant: Select Stripe
- Applicaiton Token: enter your Stripe Secret Key
- This can be found under the API section within your Stripe account.
- Be sure to use your LIVE sectret key to actually process transactions.
- Click the green SAVE button
- this will reload the form and you will now see a blue "Connect with Stripe" button - Click the Connect with Stripe button and a new page will open on Stripe
- If you already have a Stripe account, click the login link at the top right of the page
- Or you can create a new account by filling out the form to create a new Stripe account
- After signing up or logging in you will be asked to confirm the connection with InfiPlex. Click the blue Connect my Stripe account to finalize the connection.
- You can now go to specific applications like the Shop app and set it to use the System Merchant. Doing this will finalize your set-up in the Shop app and it will now be able to accept credit card transactions using your Stripe merchant account.
