In the Shop system on the Products and Inventory dashboards in the right hand corner of your product list is a search box that searches all products in your system.

For the Product Dashboard search, this search will do a keyword search on the Product Name, Base SKU and Short Description fields and an phrase search on all the Information Tabs.  Any other fields are not searched.

For the Inventory Dashboard search, this search wil do a phrase search on the Product Name and SKU fields.

Phrase Search vs Keyword Search

Phrase Search is a type of search that allows users to search for documents containing an exact sentence or phrase rather than containing a set of keywords in random order. A keyword search will search for 3 or more consecutive alphanumeric characters (with special characters being replaced with blanks) for a match.
