AutoZone Integration SKU Set-up

Last Updated: Jun 08, 2022

This document outlines the set-up of AutoZone EDI set-up and SKU number set-up in the InfiPlex Inventory & Order Management System (OMS).

InfiPlex AutoZone EDI Set-up

InfiPlex can work with you to establish an EDI connection with your existing AutoZone vendor drop-ship account. You can contact us to begin the testing process with AutoZone, which is required for the AutoZone EDI set-up.

InfiPlex AutoZone EDI SKU Set-up

The AutoZone inventory integration requires that you include the AutoZone item number for each of your SKU numbers. Please follow the process below to add your SKUs to InfiPlex and then update your SKUs with their associated AutoZone SKU data.

  • autozone_item_num

Adding Your SKUs to InfiPlex and Flagging them for AutoZone

You first need to make sure that your SKUs are loaded into InfiPlex. You can reference the OMS Product Upload page to learn how to add your SKUs to InfiPlex and associate them to The AutoZone.

Important:
You must turn on the auto create new SKUs option to make sure your tracking files are sent correctly. You can set the system to auto add new SKUs that come through on orders from AutoZone or any other marketplace. This can help by adding new SKUs as you load them into marketplaces.

Updating your SKUs with AutoZone Item Numbers

The AutoZone item number information will be available in the product data file you receive from AutoZone. The item numbers are always numeric and will be 7 or 9 digits long, like 1072256.

To add the AutoZone SKU data association, you will need to follow these steps for your SKUs that already exist in InfiPlex.

  • Create a .csv (comma delimited) file with the following columns:
    • sku
    • autozone_item_num
  • Use the SKU Utilities tool to upload your file. This will associate the listed SKU data to your SKU numbers. You will need to use the Set Identifying Data section to add the additional information to your SKUs.

    Using The SKU Utilities Tool

Set Identifying Data: This option allows you to set identifying data for SKUs. Identifying data includes the ability to sent the ASIN, GTIN, UPC, ISBN, Barcode, or autozone_item_num for your SKU numbers. You will need to include the column names in your file - sku, autozone_item_num.

  • You can use a master file to make future updates that you add your new SKUs to and re-upload.
  • You can also review all associated SKU data for any SKU by going to the Tools > SKU Data page and entering a specific SKU number.
