MyBrightSites Product Set-up
Products in your MyBrightSites store must be set-up correctly to manage inventory. Follow the steps below to set-up each product to manage inventory levels.
- Product List Page
From the Products page, click the Admin button to edit a product

- Product Setup Edit
Key things for each product are to include a unique SKU number, make the product Active, and only use the SKU Separator if the product has variations. If it is a stand-alone product, make the SKU Separator field blank. Click SAVE when done.

- Product Inventory Edit
Each SKU must be individually activated to accept inventory updates. If the product has not been activated yet, it will say "No records found" in the SKU list. Make sure the Track Inventory toggle is on by clicking on it.

Then click the "+ Import Inventory Units" button. This will bring up a pop-in window that allows you to select the item or product variations to activate for inventory. Make sure the Track Inventory checkbox is checked. It is also recommended that you un-check the "Allow Neg. Inventory" checkbox unless you want to accept backorders. Click the "Import" button to set initial inventory to 0.

Click the Save button on the Inventory edit page to save all of your changes.
