Creating a Custom Slider

From the main InfiPlex dashboard, click on the “Slider” tool link in the sitearea where you wish to use the slider. You will first create the slider, then add the images that you wish to rotate, then drop the slider onto the page which you wish it to appear or add it to the template.

Click “Slider Add” at the top of the page.

Make selections regarding transitions and navigation. These selections can be edited and styled later, as needed.

Now you will need to add images to the Library. Select the Image Library at the top of the screen, and then “Add to Library” right below that. Upload images that you want to place in your slider here.

Image Sizes: it is important that all images you use for a particular Slider be sized exactly the same or the other page content will 'bounce' around as the slider resizes for the different images.

Add any images in the slider library to your slider by going back to the “Slider” page at the top of your screen and continuing through the icon. Enter a caption (optional), select the image you would like to add from the dropdown menu, and add any custom HTML code for your caption that you would like (optional).

Here you are given the option to select a start and end time/date. This is the timeframe that this particular image is to display. This is helpful if you want to run a special or add a seasonal greeting on your site.

Adding Custom Slider to a Template

To add your new slider to a template or page, you can use “Tag” attribute found on the Slider Dashboard. Copy this tag into a “Template HTML” zone content option (advanced users) or into the page content window of the page where you want it to appear.
