This document outlines the set-up for integrating EasyPost.com shipping with your InfiPlex OMS.
InfiPlex - EasyPost Set-up
Integration with EasyPost requires you to sign-up for an EasyPost account and then copy your API key into your OMS.
Your EasyPost account will include a USPS account with Commercial Plus Pricing. Part of the sign-up will include entering your credit or debit card to purchase postage for USPS. Your other shipping accounts are billed through your existing carrier account.
- Sign-up for your EasyPost account:
Sign-up here on EasyPost.com.
- Update your Billing information:

After you sign-up, you will need to add your billing information to your account. You can pay for your USPS postage by adding a bank account, credit card, or debit card. To access your billing information, Go to Account Settings > Billing and click the Add Account under the Payment Methods area.

- Get your API Key:
To access your API information, Go to Account Settings > API Keys.
To copy your API key, click the copy link to copy the API key. You can then paste that into the OMS. It is recommended that you copy it this way rather than viewing it and manually copying the key, since that way tends to grab extra characters.
Also, be sure to copy the Production API Keys, not the Test API Keys, if you are setting up a production area.

- Add New Carrier accounts from your EasyPost.com admin area:
You should add your Carrier accounts from your EasyPost.com admin account. Your accounts will get pulled into InfiPlex for you to use.- UPS Account Set-up
- UPS SurePost Account Set-up
- FedEx Account Set-up
- FedEx SmartPost/Ground Economy Account Set-up
If you need 3rd Party account set-ups, add a new UPS or FedEx account from your EasyPost.com admin area and use the description field to designate the account it will be tied to, like "Walmart DSV" or "Overstock". You use your own UPS or FedEx account as the main account, and then you can then log into InfiPlex to Edit the new account to add the 3rd party account information. You can add your 3rd Party account information from your InfiPlex site under the Settings > Shipping > EasyPost page by editing the new carrier account added. You will be able to differentiate the accounts by the description you added.
- Update Your InfiPlex OMS Shipping Settings:
From your InfiPlex OMS menu, go to Settings > Shipping > EasyPost to update and manage your EasyPost settings. Add your API Key and make sure the Enabled option is set to Yes.
This is also where you edit your Carrier Accounts like UPS and FedEx to enable them for 3rd Party Shipping.

- EDIT a FedEx Carrier Account
It is required that you first add your FedEx accounts via your EasyPost.com login. If you need to set-up a 3rd Party Billing account for a marketplace, you should add a second FedEx account in your EasyPost.com admin area and use the description field to describe it, like "Walmart DSV 3rd Party". After you have added this new account at EasyPost.com, your new account will appear in Settings > Shipping > EasyPost page in InfiPlex. You can then click on the new account, which you will identify by the description you gave it, and you can update the account with 3rd party shipping information as outlined below.- payment[type] - enter THIRD_PARTY.
payment[account] - enter the 3rd party FedEx account number.
payment[country] - enter US.
payment[postal_code] - enter the 5 digit zip code associated to the THRID_PARTY account number.
- Description - for 3rd Party shipping accounts like Walmart DSV or Wayfair clients enter a descriptive title like Walmart DSV 3rd Party or Wyfair 3rd Party.
IMPORTANT: Walmart’s 3rd Party Labels require your account to be authenticated with FedEx – per EasyPost’s article, contact support@easypost.com to get started on the certification process if you are trying to set-up 3rd Party shipping for Walmart DSV.

- payment[type] - enter THIRD_PARTY.

- Add your Warehouse Address:
You need to update the Live Labels section with your Warehouse's address. Without the address informaiton, the EasyPost connection will not be able to pull rates since it won't know what your ship from zip code is. Reference the image above for the Live-Labels tab.
- Purchasing labels:
Once your EasyPost shipping accout is set-up, you can begin to purchase labels from the main InfiPlex OMS Orders page, under the main Order menu link.
- Shipping to US Territories:
You can ship to any of the following US Territories with the standard EasyPost integration. The State and Country 2-letter abbreviation should be the same, as listed below:- American Samoa - AS
- Guam - GU
- Northern Mariana Islands - MP
- Puerto Rico - PR
- U.S. Virgin Islands - VI
- U.S. Minor Outlying Islands - UM. This includes: Baker Island, Howland Island, Jarvis Island, Johnston Atoll, Kingma Reef, Midway Islands, Palmyra Atoll, Navassa Island, Wake Island
Depending on how your order address is sent from the marketplace, you may need to update the Ship To address by using the Edit Address button from the Order Detail page.
- Label Ship From Address for Specific Marketplaces:
You can also assign a custom Ship From address that will appear on the label for specified marketplaces. Go to the Settings > Shipping > Order Source Label Ship From page to add custom ship from addresses for specific order sources. This can be used to include the required Ship From address for Drop-Ship accounts like Walmart DSV and Wayfair.
