Houzz Set-up with InfiPlex OMS

This document outlines the set-up for integrating the InfiPlex OMS with your Houzz.com Seller's Account.

InfiPlex Houzz Integration Set-up

To connect to Houzz you must have an approved marketplace seller account. If you do not already have a Houzz seller account you can apply for a Houzz seller account.

The new Shop Houzz APIs (Nov 2025) are now available through InfiPlex. In order to use the Shop Houzz APIs, you must:

  • Have an approved Shop Houzz Marketplace account and an active selling portal.
  • Apply for an API token:
    • Sign into your selling dashboard
    • Click on Settings on the left-hand side
    • Under Settings you will see API and the area to apply for an API token. Houzz Support reviews applications weekly. You will receive an email when it is approved along with documentation.
  • For id_vendor_ob, this will need to be supplied to you. You will need to open a Support Ticket to get your id_vendor_ob number.

 

  • Add your Houzz Client ID, Client Secret, and Vendor OB ID and turn your Hourzz connection settings on:
    • houzz_client_id - This is your Houzz v3 Client Key that is used to connect to the Houzz API.
    • houzz_client_secret - This is your Houzz v3 Client Secret that is used to connect to the Houzz API.
    • houzz_id_vendor_ob - Houzz v3 API ID Vendor OB. You will need to contact Houzz Support to get your Vendor OB ID.
    • houzz_pull_orders - Set to YES to pull your Houzz orders into the OMS.
    • houzz_send_tracking_numbers - Set to YES to send tracking numbers back to Houzz.
    • houzz_soh_enabled - Set to YES to send inventory levels back to Houzz on selected SOE products.
    • houzz_soh_pricing_enabled - This controls if pricing is sent to Houzz on selected SOH (Sell On Houzz) products.
    • Save - Click the Save button to save the settings.

 

OMS Auto SKU Population

InfiPlex OMS will automatically check every SKU that gets ordered from Houzz to see if it exists in your OMS and if it is associated to the Houzz marketplace. If the SKU does not exist in the OMS, it will add it. If the SKU is not yet associated to Houzz, it will automatically associate it. The association is needed to have the OMS send through inventory updates on that SKU back to Houzz.

Houzz Order Processing

InfiPlex Inventory & Order Management System will automatically set new orders in your Houzz account to be charged. So you no longer need to manage this process.

Periodically a Houzz order will fail the credit card charge process, which will cause it to be handled internally by the Houzz team. The order may take days to get resolved and then be available as an active order to be shipped. Because of the delay, it will no longer get pulled by the regular order check for Houzz. In these situations you can go to the Sell On > Houzz page to request InfiPlex to review and process all orders going back 7 days. Simply click on the purple   button.
