The new Alert system allows you to set-up text alerts on all kinds of events within the Order Management System. Use it to instantly know that a type of order came through, or a SKU is getting low on inventory, and many other alert type options.
InfiPlex OMS Alert Set-up
The InfiPlex OMS Alert system can be set-up to send text alerts using a Twillio.com account or emails.
- Step 1) Create Your Twilio.com account:
- You can skip this step and go to Step 2 if you are going to send alerts via email
- Go to Twilio.com and sign-up for an account. Pricing for SMS text messaging starts at only $0.0075 to send a text message.
- Add your Twilio settings. Go to Tools > Alerts and click the Settings button.

- Once you have added and SAVED your settings, you can begin setting up your text alerts.
- Step 2) Create an Alert:
- Go to Tools > Alerts in the OMS menu and click the Create Alert button.
- An Alert has the following fields:
- Alert Name: Enter a descriptive name for the alert
- Alert Type: Additional fields will be shown at the bottom of the form based on your selection.
Select from one of the following options:- Shop Log Saved:
- Displays the Shop Log Type drop-down at the end of the form
- Select a specific log you want to be alerted about - SKU - Low Inventory Level:
- Displays the SKU and Inventory inputs
- Enter the specific SKU number you want
- Enter the Inventory level - when the inventory is less than or equal to this value, the alert will send - Order from Specific Source:
- Displays the Order Source input filed at the bottom of the form
- Type the exact order source name that will trigger the alert - Order in Amount Range:
- Displays the Order Minimum Total and Order Maximum Total input fields at the bottom of the form
- Enter the order ranges and the alert will send if an order is within the defined range - Specific SKU Ordered:
- Displays the SKU input field at the bottom of the form
- Enter the exact SKU number that will trigger the alert send
- Shop Log Saved:
- SMS Alert Message:
This is the alert message that will be sent via SMS when the selected alert type occurs. Make sure to be as descriptive as possible. *Only set if sending text alerts. - SMS Send To:
Put each phone number on a separate line. *Only set if sending text alerts. - Email Send From:
This is the email address the alert will be sent from. ONLY enter 1 email address. It is recommended that the default be noreply@infiplex.com. Emails may go into your Junk folder, so be sure to always check your Junk folder. Billable support is available to configure the email set-up to help lower the possibility that emails go into junk.

This is the alert message that will be sent via email when the selected alert type occurs. Make sure to be as descriptive as possible. *Only set if sending email alerts. - No Disturb Start:
No Disturb End:
If both no disturb start and end are set, no alerts will be sent or saved in-between the specified hours enter times in 12 hour, AM/PM format - 11:00 PM. - Alert Frequency:
- Always
- Once every hour
- Once every 2 hours
- Once every 4 hours
- Once every 8 hours
- Once every 12 hours
- Once every 24 hours

- Once you have added all information, click the green SAVE button to save your alert.
