Magento Integration FAQs: enterprise complexity, one clean order queue
Magento and Adobe Commerce power some of the most complex catalogs in eCommerce — multi-store, multi-website, B2B pricing tiers — and that complexity deserves an order and inventory layer built to match. The InfiPlex™ Inventory & Order Management System (OMS) connects your Magento or Adobe Commerce instance so orders flow into one queue, inventory stays accurate across every store view and channel, and shipping runs through 100+ carriers or your 3PL. Below are the questions Magento merchants ask us most.
The InfiPlex Magento integration is a direct API connection between your Magento Open Source or Adobe Commerce instance and the InfiPlex Inventory & Order Management System. Orders pull in automatically, inventory syncs in real time across every store view and channel, and shipments route through your warehouse or 3PL with tracking posted back to Magento.
Our USA-based team configures the connection with you during onboarding using your store's API credentials — there's nothing to install and no in-house developer required, though your Magento agency or dev team is welcome to be involved if you have one.
Most merchants are live within the standard 1–3 business day window, though complex multi-website Magento instances with custom attribute sets can take a bit longer to map fully — our team scopes the timeline with you once we see your catalog structure.
Yes — InfiPlex connects to both the free Magento Open Source edition and the paid Adobe Commerce (formerly Magento Commerce) edition, including Adobe Commerce Cloud hosting.
Yes — Magento's multi-website and multi-store-view architecture is common among merchants who need InfiPlex most, and each website or store view connects as its own channel drawing on the same master inventory pool.
Section 2 of 5 · Order flow
Orders, Shipping & Fulfillment
How Magento orders move into InfiPlex, out to fulfillment, and back with tracking.
InfiPlex pulls new orders from Magento approximately every 15 minutes — faster if needed — with line items, customer details, and shipping selections intact, landing in the same queue as every other connected channel.
Yes — print labels across 100+ carriers, including UPS, FedEx, DHL, and USPS with Commercial Plus pricing, directly from the OMS. Tracking posts back to the Magento order automatically.
Yes — the OMS routes Magento orders to a connected 3PL or WMS (ShipStation, ShipHero, Extensiv, and more via the 3PL Connector) based on rules you set, with tracking and inventory reconciled automatically.
That's the core of the product: Magento joins the same order queue as Amazon, Walmart, and 130+ other integrations, so your team processes everything from one screen instead of Magento's admin panel plus every marketplace's seller portal.
Magento B2B orders flow into InfiPlex the same way retail orders do, and our team maps purchase-order numbers and account-specific details during onboarding so wholesale orders reconcile correctly against inventory and your books.
Section 3 of 5 · Stock control
Inventory, Multi-Store & Catalog Sync
How InfiPlex keeps Magento inventory accurate across websites, store views, and every other channel.
InfiPlex maintains one master inventory pool, and every sale on any channel — any Magento store view, a marketplace, or a wholesale order — updates available quantities everywhere in real time, which is what prevents overselling.
Use the built-in Inventory Tool for direct edits, the Inventory Upload tool for spreadsheet-based changes, scheduled FTP feeds, or automated pulls from supplier systems. One update propagates to Magento and every other connected channel.
InfiPlex's own multi-warehouse inventory model works alongside Magento's source and stock configuration; our team maps your specific MSI setup during onboarding so InfiPlex's real-time pool and Magento's source assignments stay aligned.
With the optional Product Information Management (PIM) system on Growth Pro, InfiPlex can automate product data flows across your Magento stores and marketplaces.
Section 4 of 5 · Scaling up
Magento B2B & Enterprise Growth
How InfiPlex supports Magento and Adobe Commerce merchants as they scale.
Magento's strength is catalog and storefront flexibility, not multichannel order routing or real-time inventory reconciliation across marketplaces — InfiPlex takes on exactly that layer, so your Magento team can keep focusing on the storefront experience.
Yes — InfiPlex integrates with NetSuite (included with Growth Pro) and QuickBooks Online, so Magento orders and revenue flow into your system of record without re-keying.
Yes — InfiPlex handles retail EDI connections like Target, Costco, and Home Depot through the same hub as your Magento store, often with significant EDI VAN cost savings.
InfiPlex connects through Magento's supported APIs to pull orders and push inventory and tracking updates; our team confirms the specific API version and any custom module considerations during onboarding for your instance.
Order data — including which customer group and pricing tier applied — flows into InfiPlex along with the rest of the order, so wholesale and tiered-pricing orders reconcile correctly against inventory even though pricing logic itself stays in Magento.
Section 5 of 5 · Plans & costs
Magento Integration Pricing & Plans
What connecting Magento to InfiPlex costs, and which plan fits.
Magento connects on every InfiPlex plan. Basic Starter is $49.99/month with up to 2,000 SKUs at $0.50 per order; Growth Starter is $499.99/month with 10,000 SKUs and 1,000 orders included ($0.10 per additional order); Growth Pro is $999.99/month with 100,000 SKUs and 10,000 orders included ($0.05 per additional order). Full details are on the Pricing page.
Enterprise-scale Adobe Commerce catalogs and order volumes typically fit Growth Pro, which adds ERP connections like NetSuite, the automated PIM system, and a higher included order allowance. Smaller Magento Open Source merchants often start on Basic Starter or Growth Starter.
Each connected website or store view is a standard channel connection included in your plan; a fully separated marketplace configuration adds a $25/month Site Area if your setup calls for it.
Growth packages carry a 3-month minimum commitment and Partner packages a 12-month term; Basic Starter is month-to-month. Schedule a demo and we'll scope the right plan against your catalog and volume.
Connect the rest of your stack
Pair Magento with the systems you already run
InfiPlex connects Magento with 130+ marketplaces, carts, shipping platforms, 3PLs, WMS, and ERP systems — and our Growth Packages include building new API integrations you need at no additional cost.
NetSuiteERP connectivity for enterprise Magento merchants
Magento's multi-website architecture is a strength for merchants running several storefronts or regional variants off one platform — but it also means inventory and order logic get complex fast, especially once marketplaces are added on top. InfiPlex treats each Magento store view as a connected channel: orders pull into one queue, inventory reconciles across every store and marketplace from a single pool, and shipments route to your warehouse or 3PL with tracking posted back automatically.
The InfiPlex Magento sync rail: orders from every connected store view flow into the OMS, ship from your warehouse or 3PL, and return tracking to Magento — while inventory stays reconciled across every website, store, and marketplace in one pool.
