This article outlines how to create and manage Serial Numbers in the InfiPlex Inventory & Order Management System.

Serial Numbers Overview

InfiPlex Inventory & Order Management System (OMS) allows you to associate a serial number to any item on an order. This can be done by scanning the serial number as part of the picking process or typing the serial number. The Serial # system also allows you to pre-load serial numbers to make it easy to select the serial number if you are manually entering the number during the warehouse picking process.

Adding Serial Numbers for Manual Selection

• Go to the Inventory > Serial # admin page to upload serial numbers into the OMS
• You can click on the green Add Serial Number button to manually add a single serial number
• Or you can use the Upload Serial Numbers upload file to bulk upload serial numbers
• File Upload Serial Number fields: *bold fields are required

  When adding new Serial Numbers for manual picking, only the serial number and associated SKU are required.
