Updating the Navigation on your site.
Each page has a Navigation tab. Which navigations show on the tab is dependent on what options were selected in the pages template options (on the PC-Content tab of the page). The template options state what navigations this page is going to use and the Navigation tab tells where a page will appear in that navigation.
When you want to change or add a page to the navigation you would choose the pages Navigation tab and then choose Modify Navigation Selections.
If you look at the navigation tab and it doesn't have any options, most likely a template was not added to the page. To correct this situation, you need to go back and apply a template to the page. This is done on the PC Content tab of the page in question.
In most cases you are just going to want to choose it’s Parent page. If you leave Link and Link display name blank, it will use the information from the page. However, you have the option to link to a different URL, either in your website or not, and to change what appears as the page name on the user side. Then click ‘done’ and ‘save’.
To remove a page from a navigation, on the Navigation tab, click the red 'Remove Navigation Selections', then save.
To sort the order of pages on a navigation, click on the wrench in the upper right corner and click the purple Navigation option of the blue Design tool. Then click the orange Sort Items of the navigation you want to sort and drag and drop the pages into the order you want them to appear. If you don't see the Navigation option after choosing the wrench, you don't have the admin rights to it.
Top Level Pages
On a template that has dropdowns as part of their main nav, typically there is no content on a top level page (that has child pages). This is because mobile devices and tablets do not have a hover state like a desktop computer to allow the dropdowns to appear. So you must click on the top level item in order to see the dropdowns. Therefore when creating a new top level page, you have it route to the first child page via the navigation. (by setting the Parent field to 'none' and navigation link to the URL of child page).
