Re-Add Shipping Tracking Number

Last Updated: Dec 18, 2017

This document outlines how you can delete an existing shipping package on an order in order to re-enter the tracking number information.

Re-Add Shipping Tracking Number

In some cases where tracking has already been added to a package, you may need to delete the existing package and re-add the tracking information. This is typically only necessary if you are manually adding your tracking information. Reasons may be due to an incorrect tracking number assoicated to the order or perhaps an extra space or additional characters that are copied into the tracking number. On some marketplaces like Jet, if you have a space at the end of the trakcing number, the tracking information will be rejected and you will need to re-add the package information.

  1. Set Fully Shipped as No. You can do this at the top of the Order Detial page. If Fully Shipped is Yes, you cannot delete the original package information. Click the "set as not processed" link to change it to No. You will need to reload the order detail to see the Delete button for the existing package.

  2. Delete the existing package. Copy the tracking number of the existing package if it is the correct number to re-enter it in step 3. Click the red Delete button to delete the package.

  3. Re-Add Package Information. Use the order's Quantity to Ship column to create a new package and add the tracking number.

Note: The new package information will be sent to marketplace the order originated from to confirm that the order has been shipped.
