InfiPlex Inventory & Order Management System (OMS) automatically assigns the specified warehouse a SKU should ship from. In case no inventory is available at any warehouse, the default "Ship From" warehouse can be modified on a SKU-by-SKU basis.

Standard Default Ship From Warehouse

With a multiple warehouse setup, InfiPlex will automatically choose the ship from warehouse. If the zip code rules are being used, it will choose the closest warehouse with inventory. If zip code rules are not being used, it will use the first warehouse it finds with inventory. The warehouse order is based on the order which the warehouses were entered into the system. If none of the warehouses has inventory, the OMS will use the Default warehouse, which is the first warehouse added to the system. This is typically your Main warehouse.

Create a Custom Warehouse Order for a SKU

You can view and change the default Warehouse Ship From order for any SKU. Follow the steps below to modify the default warehouse for any SKU.

• Search for the SKU number via the Inventory page:
  Enter the SKU number in the inventory search box and then click the Blue SKU button in the Product column. This will open up the product edit page.
  
   
• Select Warehouses Tab for chosen SKU:
  From the Product Edit page, click the Warehouses tab at the bottom of the left column. This will give you the option to set a Custom Fulfillment Order for the selected SKU number.
   
• Set Custom Fulfillment Order for chosen SKU:
  Select the Custom Order (set below) radio button option. Then drag the Grey bars, with the Warehouse names, to the order you want. The top warehouse name will be the default warehouse used for this SKU, if none of the warehouses have inventory.
  
   
• Save the new setting:
  Be sure to click the Green Save button shown above once you have set the Warehouses Custom Fulfillment Order.
