Shopify Integration: run your storefront and every other channel from one OMS

Shopify is where growing brands live — and where operations sprawl first. The InfiPlex™ OMS connects your Shopify store (or stores) so orders, inventory, and tracking sync in whichever direction fits your operation: keep Shopify as your system of record and let InfiPlex feed it, or centralize everything in InfiPlex and treat Shopify as one of many channels. Every Location, every store, and every variant is handled individually. Setup is no-code, live in 1–3 business days, with USA-based onboarding.

How it works

How the InfiPlex Shopify integration works

InfiPlex works with Shopify in whichever direction fits your operation. Marketplace orders can be pushed into Shopify — each assigned to a specific fulfillment location rather than one default — so you fulfill everything from the Shopify admin you already know, or Shopify orders can flow into InfiPlex alongside every other channel so one OMS drives your warehouses, 3PLs, and ERP. Many brands start with Shopify as the system of record and move to InfiPlex as the center of gravity as channel count grows. Shopify can also control which products are eligible for which marketplaces, and its pricing can feed marketplace pricing directly. Either way, every Shopify Location maps to a real warehouse or 3PL, and tracking and inventory sync back to every connected channel automatically.

Choose your model

Two Ways to Run Shopify with InfiPlex

Every Shopify connection starts with one decision: which system is in charge of orders and fulfillment. Both options run on the same underlying sync engine — only which side is authoritative changes, and you can switch later without rebuilding your setup.

  • Option 1: Shopify as System of Record

InfiPlex pushes every marketplace order — Amazon, Walmart, eBay, and more — into your Shopify store, each assigned to a specific fulfillment location rather than one default. You fulfill from the Shopify admin your team already knows, and InfiPlex sends tracking and inventory back out to every marketplace automatically.

  • Option 2: InfiPlex as System of Record

Shopify becomes one of many channels feeding the OMS, which centrally manages orders, inventory, warehouses, 3PLs, and your ERP. Growing brands often start with Option 1 and move to Option 2 as channel count and warehouse complexity increase.

Sync direction is configured per Shopify store, not account-wide, so a brand running multiple storefronts can mix both models. See the full system-of-record FAQ section →

Multi-location, done right

Shopify Locations, Mapped to Real Warehouses

Shopify Locations are mapped one-to-one with InfiPlex warehouses, so the OMS maintains correct quantities per location — including locations that represent a 3PL or a drop-ship vendor rather than a warehouse you operate directly.

  • Unique Fulfillment Location Per Order

When InfiPlex pushes a marketplace order into Shopify, it can assign that specific order to a specific fulfillment location — not a single default — so multi-location fulfillment works correctly even when Shopify is the system of record.

  • Smart Routing Between Locations

When more than one location has stock for an order, routing rules you set — shipping cost, delivery speed, or a fixed priority order — decide which one fulfills it.

  • Shopify POS as a Location

Running physical retail alongside your webstore? InfiPlex's Shopify POS integration keeps in-store and online inventory coordinated as their own location in the same real-time pool.

Beyond order sync

Let Shopify Drive Pricing and Marketplace Eligibility

Shopify isn't just where orders and inventory live — it can also be the control point for two things that usually require a separate tool: pricing and marketplace eligibility.

  • Pricing Pulled From Shopify

InfiPlex can pull pricing directly from Shopify and use it as the source of truth across every marketplace InfiPlex connects, so you manage price in one place instead of updating it separately on each channel. Pricing sync can be scoped per channel if you'd rather keep manual pricing somewhere specific.

  • Marketplace Eligibility Controlled in Shopify

Shopify can also control which products are eligible for which marketplaces, so a given SKU only pushes to the channels you've designated for it — configured during onboarding around how your catalog is already organized.

What’s included

Everything the Shopify integration handles for you

  • Automated Order Import

New Shopify orders pull into the OMS automatically about every 15 minutes — faster if needed — ready to pick, pack, and ship alongside every other channel.

  • Two System-of-Record Modes

Push marketplace orders into Shopify (with a specific fulfillment location assigned per order, not just a single default) and fulfill from the admin you know, or pull Shopify orders into InfiPlex and centralize everything — switch as you grow.

  • Multi-Store & Multi-Location

Connect multiple Shopify stores and map Shopify Locations to your real warehouses, with each store drawing on the shared inventory pool.

  • Real-Time Inventory Sync

Every sale anywhere updates Shopify availability instantly, with per-channel buffers to absorb spikes — the mechanics that actually prevent overselling.

  • Variant, Kit & Catalog Sync

Shopify variants map to individual SKUs, bundles decrement components correctly, and new products can push automatically to every marketplace via PIM.

  • Marketplace Eligibility Control

Use Shopify itself to control which products are eligible for which marketplaces, rather than managing that mapping in a separate tool.

  • Pull Pricing for Marketplace Sync

InfiPlex can pull pricing directly from Shopify and use it as the source of truth for pricing across every marketplace InfiPlex connects.

  • Shipping & Tracking Automation

Buy labels across 100+ carriers (UPS, FedEx, DHL, USPS Commercial Plus) or let order automation purchase them; tracking posts back to Shopify automatically.

  • 3PL & WMS Routing

Route Shopify orders to ShipStation, ShipHero, Extensiv, or any partner via the 3PL Connector, with tracking and stock reconciled on return.

  • Wholesale & ERP Ready

Add the B2B eCommerce Portal, Faire wholesale, EDI retailers, QuickBooks Online, or NetSuite (Growth Pro) without leaving the same inventory pool.
