This document outlines the setup for managing inventory levels and backorder status for the Wayfair marketplace with the InfiPlex Inventory and Order Management System (OMS).
InfiPlex Wayfair.com Inventory Set-up
You will be required to add all of your Wayfair SKUs to InfiPlex to manage inventory properly with your Wayfair account. Wayfair requires that all SKUs have their inventory updated daily. The full Wayfair inventory file is pushed once a day via the API. Incremental updates are sent during the day as inventory changes are recorded for Wayfair SKUs. SKUs that are missing from your feed are set to a zero inventory level by Wayfair.
Multiple Warehouse Set-up with Wayfair
InfiPlex also supports a multi-warehouse set-up with Wayfair. As part of your initial set-up and inventory testing, InfiPlex will work with you to configur multiple warehouses with your Wayfair connection.
Wayfair Inventory Backorder Setup
Individual SKUs can be set to send backorder information as part of the Wayfair inventory feed. The Wayfair backorder information is controlled through the SKU Data information assigned to a SKU in InfiPlex. This additional SKU Data is added on the Tools > SKU Data page outlined below.
Updating via the SKU Data Tool:
Navigate to the Tools > SKU Data page, enter the SKU number, click the "Get SKU Data" button, and then update the Wayfair tab.
Wayfair Item Next Availability Date:
Must be in the format of 'MM-DD-YYY 00:00:00'.
Wayfair Quantity On Order:
Must be a number.
Be sure to click the green SAVE button to save your update.
Important: Once you have received your inventory, go back to the SKU Data Tool and delete these entries.
Download SKU Data Information:
You can download all available SKU Data by using the 'Download SKU Data' button on the Tools > SKU Data page.
This button will display the Download form. Select 'All SKUs' and 'All Data Names' to download all data. Or, you can select 'Multiple Data Names' and enter 'wayfair_quantityOnOrder,wayfair_itemNextAvailabilityDate' into the Data Names field to only download the specific Wayfair backorder data.
