This article outlines the process to update your eBay Developer account notifications for the new eBay Marketplace Account Deletion/Closure Notifications process. eBay is now requring all sellers with an API connection to update their developer connection to ensure they are compliant with eBay account data deletion requests.

InfiPlex does not store any eBay account data, so the process below outlines how to set the notification setting to use the exemption request option.

eBay Set-up

Follow the steps below to update your eBay Developer access keys notification settings:

• From the top menu, select "Application Access Keys" from the top left menu under "Hi Developername".
  
  From the Application Keys page, click the Notifications link under the Production keys area as highlighted below.
  
   
• Next, click the Not persisting eBay data toggle button.
  
   
• Confirm the Pop-up screen
  
   
• Check Exemption reason checkbox and add the following text to the Additional information text box.
  
  We do not save any eBay user account information or personal account data. Only the order ship to address is saved for shipping and returns management purposes. The PII order data, shipping address, is retained for no longer than 1 year based on product warranty and return requirements, and is automatically encrypted and deleted within 1 year of the original order.
  
  Click the blue Submit button to save the information.
