This document outlines how to create a SKU Bundle that is made up of multiple associated SKUs.

InfiPlex OMS Budle Tool

The OMS Bundle Tool allows you to designate an existing SKU as a Bundled SKU made up of multiple associated SKUs. The tool also includes the ability to have the OMS automatically add additional inventory of a Bundled SKU based on the Minimum Inventory and Auto Create Amount fields shown below. The instructions outline how the tools works and the different options available when adding or editing a Bundle.

Important:

• All of your SKUs need to already exist within your product listing, including the Bundle SKU number.
• The Bundle tool does NOT create new entries into your product list.
• You must use the Bundle tool to add or subtract bundle inventory quantity. Only in the Bundle tool will Associated SKU inventory levels get incremented or decremented correctly. Changing a Bundled SKU inventory level via the regular inventory tools will NOT change any associated SKU inventory levels.
• If a Bundle includes a SKU that is part of a SKU Group, you need to include all of the SKUs that comprise the SKU Group in the Bundle Tool. That is the only way to have all of the SKU Group SKUs get decremented or incremented correctly.

 

• Warehouse: (Required) A Bundle SKU must be associated to a warehouse. This allows the system to remove inventory appropriately from associated SKUs when creating new quantities of the Bundled SKU.
• Name: (Required) Give your Bunbled SKU a descriptive Title.
• Bundle SKU: (Required) Enter the SKU number of your Bundle. This SKU number must already exist in your regular product list. The SKU number also cannot be used in any other bundle. This means that you cannot use a Bundle SKU number as an associated SKU number in another Bundle.
• Minimum Inventory: (numeric field) When the inventory for this bundle SKU reaches this number, the system will automatically try to make the number of bundles set in the Auto Create Amount field.
• Auto Create Amount: (numeric field) Please note that if there is not enough inventory in the Associated SKUs to make the exact auto create amount, then no new bundles will be automatically made.
• Associated SKU X: A Bundled SKU can be made of up-to 5 Associated SKUs. Add the SKU number in the Associated SKU X field and the exact quantity that the bundle uses for that SKU in the Associated SKU X Quantity field.
• Associated SKU X Quantity: (numeric) Enter the exact number of the associated SKU that is included as part of the Bundled SKU.
• Be sure to click the green Save button to create your Bundled SKU.
   

 

Setting Associated SKUs for the Bundle Tool

In the Settings > Base Settings > Miscellaneous area you can adjust how many Associated SKUs are available in the Bundle Tool. Look for the bundle_max_skus setting. This is the maximum number of SKUs that can be put into a single bundle. Note that you can not have a value greater than 100.
