Still searching for Stitch Labs? Here's what happened, and where to go next

Stitch Labs was a popular multichannel inventory and order management platform for DTC brands — acquired by Square in July 2020 and fully shut down in spring 2021. If you're still landing on this page looking for Stitch Labs support, a login, or a comparison, this hub explains what happened and walks through moving your multichannel operation to the InfiPlex™ Inventory & Order Management System (OMS), which is built to do the job Stitch Labs used to do — and more.

Section 1 of 5 · What happened

Stitch Labs: What Happened & Why It's Gone

The history, so you understand exactly what you're moving away from and why.

What was Stitch Labs?

Stitch Labs was a cloud-based multichannel inventory and order management platform for DTC and ecommerce brands, syncing SKU counts, purchase orders, and fulfillment status across channels like Shopify, Amazon, eBay, and in-person POS systems, with barcode scanning and low-stock alerts.

Is Stitch Labs still operating?

No — Stitch Labs was acquired by Square (now Block, Inc.) in July 2020, stopped accepting new customers immediately, and fully shut down in spring 2021. There is no current Stitch Labs product, login, or support to migrate away from at this point — it's been discontinued for several years.

Why did Stitch Labs shut down instead of continuing as a standalone product?

Square acquired Stitch Labs specifically to bring its team and technology into Square's own inventory management efforts, rather than to continue operating Stitch Labs as an independent product — a common outcome in software acquisitions where the acquirer wants the talent and IP more than the standalone business.

Did Square offer a replacement for former Stitch Labs customers?

Square indicated it would work to fold some Stitch Labs capabilities into its own inventory tools, and offered migration assistance to Square's platform for customers who wanted to stay in that ecosystem — though Square's own inventory tools have historically been narrower in scope than a full multichannel OMS.

Migrating From Stitch Labs to InfiPlex

Practical guidance if you're still operating on Stitch Labs-era workarounds or looking for what replaced it.

Can I recover historical data from Stitch Labs at this point?

Given Stitch Labs shut down in 2021, direct data export from the platform itself is very unlikely to still be available; if you have historical exports or reports saved from that period, our team can discuss incorporating them during onboarding, but this is scoped case by case.

Does InfiPlex do everything Stitch Labs used to do?

InfiPlex covers the core job — multichannel order aggregation, real-time inventory sync, barcode-friendly warehouse workflows, and low-stock visibility — and goes further with 130+ integrations, retail EDI support, and 3PL/WMS routing that a smaller platform like Stitch Labs didn't offer at its scale.

How it works

How the InfiPlex Stitch Labs integration works

If you're reading this, there's a good chance you were a Stitch Labs customer (or inherited a business that was) and need a working multichannel inventory and order system today. InfiPlex picks up the same job: orders from every sales channel pull into one queue, inventory syncs in real time across everywhere you sell, and shipments route through your warehouse or a 3PL with tracking posted back automatically — the core workflow Stitch Labs customers relied on, running on active, supported infrastructure.

Instead of syncing with a discontinued platform, this diagram shows the migration path: your sales channels, once connected to Stitch Labs, reconnect directly to the InfiPlex OMS — which then handles the same order aggregation, inventory sync, and fulfillment routing Stitch Labs used to.
