Quickbase Integration FAQs: custom apps, real order & inventory data

Quickbase is a low-code platform many operations teams use to build custom internal tools — tracking projects, approvals, or specialized workflows that off-the-shelf software doesn't quite fit. Because Quickbase apps are custom-built rather than a fixed system, the InfiPlex™ Inventory & Order Management System (OMS) connects at the API level, feeding real-time order and inventory data into whatever app your team has built.

What Quickbase Actually Is

Understanding the platform before figuring out how it connects.

What is Quickbase?

Quickbase is a low-code platform that lets teams build custom business applications — tracking tools, approval workflows, project management systems — without needing to write software from scratch. It's a platform for building apps, not a single fixed product with a set data model.

Is Quickbase an OMS or ERP?

No — Quickbase itself isn't an order management or ERP system; it's a toolkit some operations teams use to build custom tracking and workflow apps, sometimes including apps that touch inventory or order data alongside a dedicated OMS like InfiPlex.

Why would a multichannel seller use Quickbase alongside InfiPlex?

Some operations teams build custom Quickbase apps for needs that don't fit a standard OMS dashboard — specialized reporting, vendor scorecards, or workflow approvals — while relying on InfiPlex for the actual multichannel order aggregation and inventory sync.

What is the InfiPlex Quickbase integration?

Because Quickbase apps are custom-built, InfiPlex's connection works at the API level: it exposes order, inventory, and shipment data that your Quickbase app can pull in, rather than a fixed, one-size-fits-all integration.

Do I need an existing Quickbase app to use this?

Yes — this integration is meant for teams that already have (or are building) a custom Quickbase app that needs real-time order and inventory data; it doesn't include building that Quickbase app for you.

Section 2 of 5 · Getting connected

Quickbase Integration & Setup

How the InfiPlex-to-Quickbase connection is typically scoped.

How do I connect Quickbase to InfiPlex?

Our USA-based team works with you during onboarding to understand your specific Quickbase app's data model and scope an API connection that feeds it the order, inventory, or shipment data it needs.

Does this require custom development work?

Some configuration is typically required on the Quickbase side to map incoming data into your app's specific tables and fields, since every Quickbase app is built differently; our team scopes this with you rather than assuming a fixed data structure.

Section 3 of 5 · What data flows

Order, Inventory & Shipment Data

What InfiPlex can expose to a custom Quickbase app.

What order data can flow into a Quickbase app?

Order details from every connected sales channel — line items, customer information, order status — can be exposed via API for your Quickbase app to consume, depending on how you've built it.

Section 5 of 5 · Plans & costs

Quickbase Integration Pricing & Plans

What InfiPlex costs, and how a Quickbase connection fits into that.

How much does the InfiPlex Quickbase integration cost?

Quickbase connectivity is scoped as part of your InfiPlex plan. Basic Starter is $49.99/month with up to 2,000 SKUs at $0.50 per order; Growth Starter is $499.99/month with 10,000 SKUs and 1,000 orders included ($0.10 per additional order); Growth Pro is $999.99/month with 100,000 SKUs and 10,000 orders included ($0.05 per additional order). Full details are on the Pricing page.

Do I pay for Quickbase itself separately?

Yes — your Quickbase subscription and app-building costs are billed by Quickbase directly; InfiPlex's plan and per-order pricing cover the OMS and API access only.

Is there a long-term contract?

Growth packages carry a 3-month minimum commitment and Partner packages a 12-month term; Basic Starter is month-to-month. Schedule a demo to discuss your specific Quickbase app and data needs.

How it works

How the InfiPlex Quickbase integration works

Because Quickbase is a platform for building custom apps rather than a single fixed system, there's no one standard "Quickbase integration" the way there is for a marketplace or ERP with a defined data model. Instead, InfiPlex's API can feed order, inventory, and shipment data into whatever Quickbase app your team has already built — a custom fulfillment tracker, a vendor management tool, or a reporting dashboard — so that app stays current with what's actually happening across your sales channels.

Since Quickbase apps are custom-built, this diagram shows the general shape of the connection: InfiPlex's API exposes order, inventory, and shipment data from every connected sales channel, which your Quickbase app can pull in to power whatever custom tracking, reporting, or workflow your team has built.
