ShipHero Integration FAQs: keep your warehouse running, add real multichannel OMS

ShipHero is one of the most-used warehouse management systems in ecommerce, moving a meaningful share of all US ecommerce shipments — and it's built to execute picking, packing, and shipping extremely well. What it isn't built to do is aggregate orders and reconcile inventory across every marketplace you sell on. The InfiPlex™ Inventory & Order Management System (OMS) does exactly that, then hands ShipHero the orders that are ready for warehouse execution.

Section 1 of 5 · Getting connected

ShipHero Integration & Setup

How the InfiPlex ShipHero connection works, and what it's actually for.

What is the InfiPlex ShipHero integration?

The InfiPlex ShipHero integration connects your existing ShipHero account to the InfiPlex Inventory & Order Management System. InfiPlex aggregates orders from every sales channel you run, sends fulfillment-ready orders to ShipHero for pick, pack, and ship execution, and pushes the resulting tracking back out to the originating marketplace or storefront — all while managing real-time inventory sync across channels that ShipHero itself doesn't handle.

Do I need to already have a ShipHero account?

Yes — this integration connects an existing ShipHero warehouse account to InfiPlex, whether that's your own warehouse running ShipHero or a 3PL that fulfills on your behalf using it. If you don't use ShipHero, InfiPlex's own order and shipping workflow already covers 100+ carriers directly.

How do I connect ShipHero to InfiPlex?

Setup is quick and simple: after you sign up, our USA-based team provisions your OMS site within 1–2 business days and links your ShipHero account using its API credentials. There's nothing to install and no developer needed.

How long does ShipHero setup take with InfiPlex?

Most sellers are live in 1–3 business days. The connection itself completes quickly; the rest of the window goes to confirming which order types route to ShipHero versus InfiPlex's own fulfillment or carrier connections.

Does connecting InfiPlex change how my warehouse team works day to day?

No — your warehouse team keeps using ShipHero's pick, pack, and ship workflow exactly as they know it. InfiPlex changes what happens before an order reaches ShipHero (multichannel aggregation and inventory sync) and after (tracking distributed back to the right channel), not the warehouse execution itself.

Section 2 of 5 · How they connect

How Orders Flow Between InfiPlex & ShipHero

The mechanics of what moves where, and why it's organized this way.

How does an order get from InfiPlex to ShipHero?

Once an order is ready to ship, InfiPlex sends it to ShipHero, which then handles picking, packing, and shipping using your warehouse's existing ShipHero workflow, hardware, and rate-shopping setup.

Does inventory in ShipHero stay in sync with everything else?

Yes — stock levels in ShipHero feed into InfiPlex's master inventory pool, which reconciles them against every other channel and location in real time, so a ShipHero pick doesn't leave your other channels overselling stock that's already been allocated.

Section 4 of 5 · Which to use

When to Use ShipHero vs. InfiPlex's Built-In Fulfillment

Both are available — here's how sellers typically decide.

Do I need ShipHero if I use InfiPlex?

No — InfiPlex includes its own order and shipping workflow across 100+ carriers, so ShipHero isn't required. This integration exists for sellers who already run their own warehouse on ShipHero, or who fulfill through a 3PL that does.

Why would I use ShipHero instead of a different fulfillment setup?

ShipHero is a strong fit for DTC brands and 3PLs shipping high volumes of small parcels, with strong batch-picking and rate-shopping tools already in place. InfiPlex's value in that case is the multichannel order aggregation and inventory sync layered on top, which ShipHero alone doesn't provide across channels.

Does this integration compete with ShipHero, or work alongside it?

It works alongside it. InfiPlex isn't trying to replace ShipHero's warehouse execution — it's solving the multichannel order aggregation and real-time inventory sync problem that sits upstream of fulfillment, which ShipHero on its own doesn't address across every channel you sell on.

Section 5 of 5 · Plans & costs

ShipHero Integration Pricing & Plans

What connecting ShipHero to InfiPlex costs, and which plan fits.

How much does the InfiPlex ShipHero integration cost?

ShipHero connects on every InfiPlex plan. Basic Starter is $49.99/month with up to 2,000 SKUs at $0.50 per order; Growth Starter is $499.99/month with 10,000 SKUs and 1,000 orders included ($0.10 per additional order); Growth Pro is $999.99/month with 100,000 SKUs and 10,000 orders included ($0.05 per additional order). Full details are on the Pricing page.

Do I pay for ShipHero and InfiPlex separately?

Yes — your existing ShipHero subscription is billed by ShipHero as usual; InfiPlex's plan and per-order pricing are separate and cover the multichannel OMS layer, not ShipHero's own warehouse software cost.

Is there a long-term contract?

Growth packages carry a 3-month minimum commitment and Partner packages a 12-month term; Basic Starter is month-to-month. Schedule a demo and we'll walk through how InfiPlex and your existing ShipHero setup fit together.

How it works

How the InfiPlex ShipHero integration works

Think of ShipHero as the warehouse execution layer, and InfiPlex as the layer above it that aggregates every sales channel into one order queue and keeps inventory accurate across all of them. InfiPlex sends orders that are ready to fulfill over to ShipHero, ShipHero's team picks, packs, and ships them, and InfiPlex pushes the resulting tracking back out to whichever marketplace or storefront the order came from — all while your warehouse floor keeps using the ShipHero workflow it already knows.

Flow diagram: ShipHero sends new orders to the InfiPlex Order Management System about every 15 minutes. The InfiPlex ShipHero sync rail: orders ready to fulfill flow from the OMS into ShipHero for pick, pack, and ship execution; ShipHero returns shipment confirmations and inventory levels; and InfiPlex pushes tracking out to whichever sales channel the order came from — while inventory stays reconciled across every connected channel in one pool.
