Square Integration FAQs: one inventory count, in-store and everywhere else
Square earns its place as the register and the online store for a huge share of small businesses — but the moment a Square seller adds Amazon, Walmart, or a second sales channel, Square's own inventory sync stops being enough. The InfiPlex™ Inventory & Order Management System (OMS) connects Square Online and in-person POS sales to the same real-time inventory pool as every marketplace you sell on. Below are the questions Square sellers ask us most.
The InfiPlex Square integration connects your Square account — in-person POS and Square Online together — to the InfiPlex Inventory & Order Management System. Online orders pull in automatically, inventory syncs in real time across in-person sales, Square Online, and every marketplace you sell on, and tracking flows back to Square once orders ship.
Setup is quick and simple: after you sign up, our USA-based team provisions your OMS site within 1–2 business days and links your Square account. There's nothing to install and no developer needed — we handle the connection, SKU mapping, and shipping configuration with you.
Most sellers are live in 1–3 business days. The connection itself completes quickly; the rest of the window goes to mapping your catalog and confirming inventory and shipping settings.
InfiPlex connects both. If you only use Square for in-person POS today, InfiPlex can still keep that inventory in sync with marketplaces you add later; if you also run Square Online, its orders pull in and ship the same way any other channel's orders do.
Yes — InfiPlex maps multiple Square locations into your master inventory pool, so a sale at any physical location adjusts availability everywhere else, including your online channels.

Order Management: Online + In-Person
How Square Online orders reach InfiPlex, and how in-person sales stay reflected everywhere.
InfiPlex pulls new Square Online orders approximately every 15 minutes — faster if needed — landing in the same queue as your Amazon, Walmart, and other channel orders, ready to pick, pack, and ship.
In-person sales are reflected as inventory decrements across your connected channels in real time; they don't need fulfillment the way an online or marketplace order does, since the customer walked out with the product. The key is that a countertop sale instantly protects your Amazon and Walmart availability from an oversell.
Yes — print labels across 100+ carriers, including UPS, FedEx, DHL, and USPS with Commercial Plus pricing, directly from the OMS. Tracking posts back to Square automatically.
Yes — the OMS routes Square Online orders to a connected 3PL or WMS via the 3PL Connector, with tracking and inventory reconciled automatically on return.
That's the core of the product: Square joins the same order queue as Amazon, Etsy, Walmart, and 130+ other integrations, so your team works from one screen instead of switching between the Square Dashboard and every marketplace seller portal.

Inventory Sync Across Square & Other Channels
How InfiPlex keeps in-person, online, and marketplace inventory aligned.
InfiPlex maintains one master inventory pool. A sale at your register, on Square Online, or on any connected marketplace updates available quantities everywhere in real time — the mechanism that actually prevents overselling once you're on more than one channel.
Yes — per-channel buffers hold back safety stock on any connected marketplace independently, useful if you want to protect walk-in availability at your physical location.
Use the built-in Inventory Tool for direct edits, the Inventory Upload tool for spreadsheet-based changes, scheduled FTP feeds, or automated pulls from supplier systems. One update propagates to Square and every other connected channel.
Variations sync at the SKU level across every channel, so a size or color sold in-store correctly decrements the matching variation online and on marketplaces.
Yes — the OMS tracks stock across multiple Square locations, your own warehouse, and any connected 3PL, routing online orders to the right source while keeping every location's available count accurate.
Section 4 of 5 · Beyond the register
Growing Beyond Square
How Square sellers add marketplaces and systems without losing what makes Square work.
Many Square sellers add Etsy or Amazon first, then layer on Walmart Marketplace as volume grows — all sharing the same inventory pool as their Square POS and Square Online sales.
Yes — InfiPlex integrates with QuickBooks Online and NetSuite (Growth Pro), so revenue from every channel — register, Square Online, and marketplaces — flows into your books without re-keying.
No — InfiPlex operates alongside Square rather than replacing your point-of-sale hardware or checkout flow. Your register keeps working exactly as it does today; InfiPlex adds the multichannel layer around it.
Yes — orders from the InfiPlex B2B eCommerce Portal or Faire draw on the same inventory pool as your Square sales, so retail and wholesale finally reconcile in one place.
Yes — InfiPlex can connect multiple Square accounts or locations under one OMS, giving a multi-store operation a single view of inventory and orders across every site and channel.
Square's tax configuration stays with your Square account and applies to in-person and Square Online sales as it does today; InfiPlex focuses on order and inventory sync rather than tax calculation, so each connected channel continues using its own native tax settings.
InfiPlex is built around physical product inventory and order fulfillment, so it's the right fit for Square Online and Square's retail POS features — Square for Restaurants and Square Appointments serve service-based workflows that fall outside what InfiPlex manages.
Section 5 of 5 · Plans & costs
Square Integration Pricing & Plans
What connecting Square to InfiPlex costs, and which plan fits.
Square connects on every InfiPlex plan. Basic Starter is $49.99/month with up to 2,000 SKUs at $0.50 per order; Growth Starter is $499.99/month with 10,000 SKUs and 1,000 orders included ($0.10 per additional order); Growth Pro is $999.99/month with 100,000 SKUs and 10,000 orders included ($0.05 per additional order). Full details are on the Pricing page.
Most Square sellers start on Basic Starter when adding their first marketplace and move to Growth Starter as combined order volume grows — Growth Starter's included order block and Marketplace Repricer become worthwhile once you're running several channels at once.
No — Square is a standard included integration. You pay your InfiPlex plan and per-order fees only; your Square processing fees and any Square subscription remain separate, billed by Square as usual.
Growth packages carry a 3-month minimum commitment and Partner packages a 12-month term; Basic Starter is month-to-month. Schedule a demo and we'll scope the right plan against your channel mix.
Connect the rest of your stack
Pair Square with the systems you already run
InfiPlex connects Square with 130+ marketplaces, carts, shipping platforms, 3PLs, WMS, and ERP systems — and our Growth Packages include building new API integrations you need at no additional cost.
Square already keeps in-person and Square Online sales in sync with each other — InfiPlex extends that same real-time accuracy out to every other channel you sell on. A sale rung up at the register instantly adjusts what's available on Amazon and Walmart; a marketplace sale adjusts what your countertop system shows is in stock. Orders from every channel land in one queue, and shipments route through your warehouse or a 3PL with tracking posted back automatically.
The InfiPlex Square sync rail: online orders from Square flow into the OMS, ship from your warehouse or 3PL, and return tracking to Square — while in-person POS sales and every marketplace draw down the same real-time inventory pool.
