AliExpress Integration FAQs: your official storefront, synced automatically
AliExpress gives verified brands direct access to a global, price-sensitive buyer base across 220+ countries — a genuinely different audience than Amazon or eBay. The InfiPlex™ Inventory & Order Management System (OMS) connects your official AliExpress seller account so orders pull in automatically, cross-border shipments route with customs documentation handled, and your inventory stays synced with every other channel you run. Below are the questions AliExpress sellers ask us most.
The InfiPlex AliExpress integration connects your official AliExpress seller account to the InfiPlex Inventory & Order Management System. Orders pull in automatically, inventory syncs in real time across every channel you sell on, and shipments route through your warehouse or a 3PL with tracking posted back to AliExpress.
Yes — you need an approved, verified AliExpress seller account before InfiPlex can connect it. AliExpress requires business or brand-authorization verification (typically through a corporate Alipay account) and doesn't accept unverified private sellers, so account approval happens directly with AliExpress first.
Setup is quick and simple: after you sign up for InfiPlex, our USA-based team provisions your OMS site within 1–2 business days and works with you to authorize the connection from your AliExpress seller account. There's nothing to install and no developer needed.
Once your seller account is approved and active, most sellers are live on InfiPlex in 1–3 business days — the connection itself completes quickly, with the remaining time going to SKU mapping and shipping configuration.
Businesses and brand-authorized sellers can register through the AliExpress Seller Center, complete identity and business verification, and select a store type based on your brand qualifications. Once approved, InfiPlex connects the account during your normal onboarding.

Order Management & Cross-Border Shipping
How AliExpress orders move into InfiPlex, out to fulfillment, and back with tracking across borders.
InfiPlex pulls new orders from your AliExpress seller account approximately every 15 minutes — faster if needed — landing in the same queue as your other connected channels, ready to pick, pack, and ship.
Yes — InfiPlex supports 100+ carriers including cross-border shipping options, so orders bound for AliExpress's global buyer base across 220+ countries route through the same shipping workflow as your domestic orders.
Yes — once an order ships, whether from your own warehouse or a connected 3PL, InfiPlex posts the tracking number back to AliExpress automatically, keeping your seller metrics and buyer notifications accurate.
Yes — connect a supported 3PL or WMS and route some or all AliExpress orders there for pick, pack, and ship, with tracking confirmations flowing back through InfiPlex automatically.
Cancellations and refunds processed on AliExpress sync back into InfiPlex so your order records and inventory counts stay accurate without a separate manual reconciliation step.
Section 3 of 6 · Using InfiPlex itself
Managing AliExpress From Inside InfiPlex
What day-to-day management inside the InfiPlex platform actually looks like, beyond the sync mechanics.
InfiPlex configuration includes granular permissions per team member, not just a single fixed role. Each user can be given Full Access, or scoped access configured separately for Orders and Inventory. Order-side permissions cover access to order tools (all or limited), the order list (scoped to all warehouses or specific ones you choose), returns, order creation, and invoices. Inventory-side permissions cover access to inventory tools (all or limited) and the inventory list, similarly scoped by warehouse. A user can be granted access to multiple specific warehouses at once, not just one.
See the Warehouse User Roles page for the full walkthrough of setting these up for your AliExpress operation.
Use the built-in Inventory Tool for direct, one-off edits to a specific SKU, or the Inventory Upload tool to change many SKUs at once via spreadsheet — both update AliExpress and every other connected channel from inside the OMS, without needing to touch the AliExpress seller portal directly.
AliExpress orders appear in your main InfiPlex order queue alongside every other connected channel, with the originating channel labeled on each order so your team can filter or sort by AliExpress specifically when needed.
User role access in InfiPlex is scoped by warehouse rather than by individual channel, so a Warehouse Admin sees the orders assigned to their warehouse — including AliExpress orders routed there — while a Main Admin sees everything across all warehouses and channels.
Section 4 of 6 · Stock control
Inventory Sync & Availability
How available quantity stays accurate across AliExpress and every other channel you sell on.
InfiPlex multi-channel inventory sync includes managing inventory levels for all your SKUs across AliExpress and every other channel you connect. When a unit sells anywhere, the InfiPlex real-time inventory sync updates available quantity everywhere else, which is what helps prevent overselling on AliExpress and all of your connected marketplaces.
Because inventory is pooled centrally rather than tracked per channel, a sale on AliExpress immediately decrements the shared count other channels see — the scenario the sync exists specifically to prevent overselling against.
Yes — pricing is set per channel, so your AliExpress price can reflect that market's expectations without changing what the same SKU sells for on your other channels.
Yes — the InfiPlex Inventory Tool supports Safety Stock per SKU, holding back a set amount from what shows as available on AliExpress so you have a cushion against timing gaps or other channels' orders.
You can also set a Reorder Point to flag when it's time to replenish a SKU, along with Delivery Lead Time and Bin Location for your own warehouse operations.
Use the built-in Inventory Tool for direct edits, the Inventory Upload tool for spreadsheet-based changes, scheduled FTP feeds, or automated pulls from supplier systems. One update propagates to AliExpress and every other connected channel.
Section 5 of 6 · Important distinction
Selling on AliExpress vs. Sourcing from AliExpress
A common point of confusion worth addressing directly, since the two workflows are entirely different.
No — this integration is for merchants who run their own official AliExpress seller account, listing and selling their own products to AliExpress's buyers. It is not for the common beginner workflow of sourcing products from AliExpress suppliers to resell on your own Shopify or other storefront, which is a completely different, unrelated business model.
Selling on AliExpress means AliExpress is your sales channel — you have a verified seller account and AliExpress buyers purchase directly from your store on the platform, which is what InfiPlex connects. Sourcing from AliExpress means AliExpress suppliers are your product source, and your own separate storefront (often Shopify or WooCommerce) is the actual sales channel — that sourcing workflow is typically handled by dedicated tools built for it and isn't something InfiPlex manages.
InfiPlex connects your Shopify store as a sales channel and manages its orders and inventory, but it doesn't manage the AliExpress supplier-sourcing side of a dropshipping workflow — that's typically handled by dedicated sourcing tools built specifically for that purpose. If you also hold your own inventory and want to combine that with marketplace selling, InfiPlex's Shopify and marketplace integrations are the right fit.
AliExpress gives established brands and manufacturers direct access to a global, price-sensitive buyer base across 220+ countries without needing separate storefronts per region — a genuinely different audience and positioning than Amazon or eBay, which is why some multichannel sellers add it as one more revenue channel rather than a replacement for either.
Generally no — AliExpress requires business or brand-authorization verification to open an official store and doesn't accept private, unverified sellers. This is different from the sourcing side of AliExpress, where anyone can browse and purchase from existing suppliers without needing seller verification.
Yes — sellers with brand ownership or authorization can apply for official, specialty, or franchise store types on AliExpress, which typically carry additional trust signals for buyers compared to a standard store.
AliExpress settles seller payouts according to its own payment and currency terms; InfiPlex syncs the order and revenue data from those sales into your connected accounting system, while the payout currency and schedule remain governed by AliExpress.
Section 6 of 6 · Plans & costs
AliExpress Integration Pricing & Plans
What connecting AliExpress to InfiPlex costs, and which plan fits.
AliExpress connects on every InfiPlex plan as a standard marketplace connection. Basic Starter is $49.99/month with up to 2,000 SKUs at $0.50 per order; Growth Starter is $499.99/month with 10,000 SKUs and 1,000 orders included ($0.10 per additional order); Growth Pro is $999.99/month with 100,000 SKUs and 10,000 orders included ($0.05 per additional order). Full details are on the Pricing page.
Sellers testing AliExpress as a first move into international markets often start on Growth Starter, which leaves room to add more global marketplaces as volume grows without an immediate plan change.
Growth packages carry a 3-month minimum commitment and Partner packages a 12-month term; Basic Starter is month-to-month. Schedule a demo and we'll scope the right plan against your channel mix.
No — connecting AliExpress alongside other international marketplaces is included on every plan. You're billed based on SKU count and order volume, not the number of countries or channels you sell in.
Connect the rest of your stack
Pair AliExpress with the systems you already run
InfiPlex connects AliExpress with 130+ marketplaces, carts, shipping platforms, 3PLs, WMS, and ERP systems — and our Growth Packages include building new API integrations you need at no additional cost.
AliExpress requires business or brand-authorization verification to open an official store — this integration is built for that seller relationship, not the unrelated dropshipping workflow of sourcing products from AliExpress suppliers to resell elsewhere. Once your seller account is connected, InfiPlex pulls orders in automatically, routes cross-border shipments (with the customs documentation international carriers require) the same way it routes domestic ones, and keeps inventory synced across every channel you sell on.
The InfiPlex AliExpress sync rail: new orders flow into the OMS as they're placed, ship internationally with customs documentation handled, and tracking posts back to AliExpress automatically, while inventory stays reconciled across every marketplace you supply.
