Section 1 of 6 · Getting connected

Walmart Integration & Setup

How the InfiPlex Walmart connection works, what you need from Walmart Seller Center, and how quickly you can be live.

What is the InfiPlex Walmart integration?

The InfiPlex Walmart integration is a direct API connection between your Walmart Seller account and the InfiPlex Inventory & Order Management System. It automatically pulls your Walmart orders and acknowledges them, sends tracking numbers back the moment you purchase labels, and keeps SKU inventory levels synchronized between Walmart and every other channel you sell on. InfiPlex is an official Walmart Full-Service Solutions Provider, which means we can help with item setup and management, inventory, orders, and pricing — not just order downloads.

How do I connect my Walmart Seller account to InfiPlex?

After you choose an InfiPlex package, our team provisions your OMS site and walks you through generating your API credentials from Walmart Seller Center and entering them into InfiPlex. If you already have an active Walmart Merchant account, you can be connected and managing orders and inventory almost immediately. The whole process is no-code and guided by our USA-based support team.

How long does Walmart setup take with InfiPlex?

Most sellers are live in 1–3 business days. Your OMS site is typically provisioned within 1–2 business days of sign-up, and the Walmart key exchange itself takes minutes once your Seller Center access is ready. Onboarding help — SKU mapping, shipping configuration, and connecting any additional marketplaces — is included with every package.

What does it mean that InfiPlex is a Walmart Full-Service Solutions Provider?

Walmart maintains a directory of vetted Solutions Providers that sellers can trust to integrate with the marketplace, and InfiPlex is listed as a Full-Service provider. Full-Service means the platform covers the full operational stack — item setup and management, inventory, order fulfillment, and pricing — rather than a single point solution. In practice, you get one system and one support team for everything your Walmart operation touches.

Do I need a developer or IT resources to integrate Walmart?

No. InfiPlex is a no-code solution: there's no software to install, no hardware, and nothing for your IT team to maintain. Our support team helps you obtain your Walmart API keys and configures the connection with you, and the same OMS then connects your other marketplaces, carts, and shipping systems without additional development work.

What user roles are available for administrators and warehouse associates to manage orders?

InfiPlex configuration includes granular permissions per team member, not just a single fixed role. Each user can be given Full Access, or scoped access configured separately for Orders and Inventory. Order-side permissions cover access to order tools (all or limited), the order list (scoped to all warehouses or specific ones you choose), returns, order creation, and invoices. Inventory-side permissions cover access to inventory tools (all or limited) and the inventory list, similarly scoped by warehouse. A user can be granted access to multiple specific warehouses at once, not just one.

See the Warehouse User Roles page for the full walkthrough.

Order Management, Shipping & Delivery Programs

How Walmart orders flow through InfiPlex, how tracking gets back to Walmart, and how delivery programs like TwoDay fit in.

How do Walmart orders get into InfiPlex?

InfiPlex automatically pulls your open Walmart orders into the OMS about every 15 minutes, and faster syncs can be configured if your operation needs them. Orders arrive with everything needed to fulfill — items, quantities, shipping service, and customer details — and can be processed in the OMS, in your warehouse or shipping application, or in your ERP. Nothing needs to be re-keyed from Seller Center.

How does tracking get back to Walmart?

As soon as you purchase a shipping label, InfiPlex sends the tracking number back to Walmart automatically. That immediate confirmation is what protects your on-time shipping and valid tracking metrics, which Walmart weighs heavily in seller performance. The same shipment update flows to any other system you've connected, like your ERP or a customer-facing webstore.

Which carriers can I use to ship Walmart orders?

InfiPlex includes shipping tools supporting 100+ carriers worldwide, including UPS, FedEx, DHL, and USPS with Commercial Plus pricing through the integrated EasyPost connection. You can compare rates across carriers, automate label purchase rules, and print labels in batches. If you prefer an outside tool, InfiPlex also connects to ShipStation and other shipping platforms.

What happens if I sell on Walmart and Amazon at the same time?

That's exactly the scenario InfiPlex is built for: both channels feed into one order queue, one inventory pool, and one shipping workflow. Every Walmart sale immediately decrements the inventory Amazon sees and vice versa, which prevents the oversells that damage seller metrics on both platforms. Most InfiPlex sellers run Walmart alongside Amazon, Shopify, eBay, and more from the same screen.

Section 3 of 6 · Inventory & pricing

Inventory, Promotional Pricing & Item Content

Keeping Walmart quantities accurate, running promotions, and managing item content at scale.

How does InfiPlex keep my Walmart inventory accurate?

InfiPlex updates each SKU's inventory level on Walmart as orders are placed on Walmart or any other connected channel, so Walmart always reflects what's genuinely available. Manual updates are also available through the Inventory Tool and Inventory Upload, and FTP feeds or custom pulls can bring inventory in from a supplier or external system. This channel-wide sync is what eliminates overselling once you're on more than one marketplace.

Can I set an inventory buffer for Walmart?

Yes — the InfiPlex Inventory Tool lets you set Safety Stock for each SKU, holding back a set quantity from what shows as available on Walmart, for example showing 95 units when 100 are on the shelf. You can also set a Reorder Point to flag when a SKU needs replenishing, along with Delivery Lead Time and Bin Location for your own warehouse operations.

Safety Stock is set independently per channel, so Walmart can carry a different cushion than your parcel-friendly channels.

What is the "Set to Zero" inventory tool?

Set to Zero is a threshold you configure per SKU: if you set it to 5, for example, any item with inventory at or below 5 will have its Walmart-facing availability set to 0 automatically, rather than continuing to show a low but nonzero quantity. It's a stronger stop-sell trigger than Safety Stock, useful for SKUs where selling the last few units on Walmart specifically isn't worth the risk of an oversell.

How is Set to Zero different from Safety Stock?

Safety Stock holds back a fixed cushion so a channel always sees a bit less than what's truly on hand; Set to Zero is a threshold that, once crossed, drops the pushed availability to 0 entirely. You can use either independently, or both together, depending on how conservatively you want a given SKU handled as it runs low.

Can I choose between totaling inventory or 1:1 warehouse sync for Walmart?

Yes — InfiPlex supports an inventory sync type setting for Walmart: total your inventory across all InfiPlex warehouses and send Walmart one combined value per SKU, or sync 1:1 so each of your warehouses maps to its own corresponding location on Walmart's side. Our team configures whichever matches how you actually run fulfillment.

Which inventory sync type should I use for Walmart?

Totaled sync is simpler and fits sellers who don't need Walmart to know which specific warehouse holds the stock; 1:1 fits sellers who want Walmart's own multi-location logic to reflect their real warehouse network. Our team can walk through which one matches your Walmart setup during onboarding.

How do I upload promotional pricing to Walmart through InfiPlex?

Promotional pricing can be uploaded through a simple CSV file in InfiPlex. That makes event pricing — rollbacks, holiday promos, clearance — a bulk operation instead of item-by-item edits in Seller Center, and regular pricing resumes on your schedule. Pricing management is part of what InfiPlex covers as a Full-Service Solutions Provider.

Where does my inventory data come from if I use a 3PL or supplier feeds?

Anywhere you need. InfiPlex can read inventory from connected 3PLs and WMS platforms, ingest FTP inventory feeds, accept spreadsheet uploads, or use custom programming to pull quantities from wherever they live. Whatever the source, the resulting available-to-sell number is what gets pushed to Walmart and every other channel.

Section 4 of 6 · Stay ahead of issues

Alerts & Notifications

Real-time email and text alerts for the events that matter to your operation.

What other events can trigger an InfiPlex alert?

Any event that happens in InfiPlex can be configured to send an alert — order returns, order cancellations, a failed inventory API call, a successful tracking send, and more. You're not limited to a fixed list of triggers.

Are alerts specific to Walmart, or available for every channel?

Alerts are a platform-wide InfiPlex feature, not specific to any one channel — they're just especially popular among Walmart sellers for returns and cancellations specifically, since those are events worth knowing about immediately on a marketplace where seller metrics matter as much as Walmart's do.

How do I set up alerts for my Walmart account?

Our team configures which events trigger an alert, and whether it goes by email or text, during onboarding or any time afterward — just let us know which events you want to track and where you want the notification sent.

Section 5 of 6 · Walmart programs

DSV, Walmart Business, Canada & Growth Programs

Beyond the core Marketplace: Drop Ship Vendor, Walmart Business, Walmart.ca, and how InfiPlex supports each.

What are Walmart S2S (Site-to-Store) labels and does InfiPlex print them?

Site-to-Store orders are DSV orders the customer picks up at a Walmart store rather than receiving at home, and they require Walmart's specific S2S label. InfiPlex prints both regular DSV shipping labels and S2S labels as part of the DSV integration, so store-pickup orders don't need a separate manual workflow.

Can I sell to business customers through Walmart Business with InfiPlex?

Yes — the InfiPlex Walmart integration also works with Walmart Business, Walmart's B2B storefront. Business orders pull into the same OMS queue as your consumer Marketplace orders, with the same automatic tracking and inventory sync, letting brands add B2B volume without adding a second operational process.

Why is Walmart Marketplace considered such a strong growth channel right now?

Walmart Marketplace has been one of the fastest-growing major US marketplaces, with GMV growing at strong double-digit rates year over year, an active seller base that has passed 200,000, and roughly 270 million customers shopping Walmart weekly worldwide. Walmart has also been courting new sellers aggressively with onboarding incentives and referral-fee discounts. For established multichannel brands, it's typically the highest-upside expansion after Amazon — and InfiPlex makes the operational side a non-event.

Can I use InfiPlex if I fulfill some Walmart orders with Walmart Fulfillment Services (WFS)?

Yes. Orders fulfilled by WFS are picked, packed, and shipped by Walmart, while InfiPlex manages your seller-fulfilled Walmart SKUs and keeps inventory aligned across your other channels. Many sellers run a hybrid model — WFS for fast movers, merchant fulfillment for the long tail or oversized items — and our team will help you configure the split correctly during onboarding.

Section 6 of 6 · Plans & fit

Pricing & Platform Fit

What the Walmart integration costs, which package fits, and how InfiPlex compares to managing Walmart manually.

How much does the InfiPlex Walmart integration cost?

The Walmart connection is included in every InfiPlex package — there's no separate per-channel app fee. The Basic Starter plan is $49.99/month for up to 2,000 SKUs with orders billed at $0.50 each, Growth Starter is $499.99/month with 1,000 orders included ($0.10 each after), and Growth Pro is $999.99/month with 10,000 orders included ($0.05 each after). Growth packages add extras like the Marketplace Repricer, API access, and free development of new API integrations.

Which InfiPlex package should a Walmart seller choose?

It comes down to monthly order volume. New or low-volume Walmart sellers usually start on Basic Starter at $49.99/month and upgrade as orders grow; sellers doing hundreds to a few thousand orders per month typically land on Growth Starter; and high-volume or ERP-connected operations fit Growth Pro, which includes NetSuite-class ERP connections and the PIM. You can schedule a free consultation and we'll size it with you against your real numbers.

What does InfiPlex replace compared to managing Walmart manually?

Without an OMS, Walmart sellers typically export orders from Seller Center, buy labels in a separate tool, paste tracking back by hand, and update inventory channel-by-channel — a workflow that breaks down exactly when sales spike. InfiPlex replaces all of that with automatic order pull and acknowledgment, integrated label purchase, instant tracking confirmation, channel-wide inventory sync, and real-time alerts, plus a USA-based team you can actually call at 888-770-0857.

Is there a long-term contract for the Walmart integration?

Growth packages require a 3-month commitment, and partner programs like the 3PL Client Connector run on 12-month terms; details are on the pricing page. Some marketplace or retail setups that must be isolated in their own OMS environment carry an additional $25/month Site Area fee, which our team will flag up front if it applies to your configuration.

How it works

How the InfiPlex Walmart integration works

Once your Walmart Seller account is connected, InfiPlex pulls every new Walmart order into the OMS and acknowledges it automatically, where it can be shipped with the built-in 100+ carrier shipping tools, routed to a warehouse or 3PL, or pushed into your ERP. The moment a label is purchased, tracking goes back to Walmart automatically, and every sale on any channel updates the inventory Walmart sees — so you protect your seller metrics without touching a spreadsheet. Email or text alerts can notify your team the moment an order is returned or cancelled, or any other event you want to track.
