ShipStation Integration: multichannel orders, your existing shipping workflow

ShipStation handles rates, labels, and your carrier accounts well — but it doesn't aggregate orders across 130+ channels or sync inventory between them. The InfiPlex™ OMS connects both directions: it consolidates orders from every channel and sends shipment-ready orders to ShipStation for label generation, and it can also pull orders directly from ShipStation via API — filtered by a specific order status if needed — then set tracking on those orders back in ShipStation via API. Large warehouses commonly use the direct-pull model.

How it works

How the InfiPlex ShipStation integration works

There are two ways InfiPlex connects with ShipStation, and which one fits depends on where your orders actually originate. Most sellers use the aggregation model: InfiPlex consolidates orders from every sales channel and sends shipment-ready orders to ShipStation for rate comparison and label generation using your existing carrier accounts. Large warehouses more often use the direct-pull model instead: InfiPlex pulls orders straight from ShipStation via API — filtered by a specific order status if needed — and sets tracking on those orders back in ShipStation via API once they ship. Either way, your team's packing and printing workflow in ShipStation doesn't change.

Flow diagram: orders from every connected channel flow into the InfiPlex Order Management System continuously. InfiPlex sends shipment-ready orders to ShipStation for label generation, pushes tracking and real-time inventory back to every channel, and routes orders to ShipStation, 3PL / WMS Partners, Other Retailers as configured. All Your Channels Amazon, Walmart, Shopify & more Seller account InfiPlex OMS Orders · Inventory · Shipping 100+ carriers · buffers · automation SINGLE SOURCE OF TRUTH Orders aggregated continuously Tracking + inventory levels sent back Orders routed for fulfillment Ship confirmations + stock levels return ShipStation Rate shopping & label generation, your accounts 3PL / WMS Partners For orders routed outside ShipStation Other Retailers Target, AutoZone & more share the pool
The InfiPlex ShipStation sync rail: orders from every channel land in one OMS, ship-ready orders go to ShipStation for label generation using your existing carrier accounts, and tracking posts back automatically — while inventory stays reconciled across every channel you supply. Some warehouses run this in reverse, pulling orders directly from ShipStation instead.

Two ways to connect

Aggregate Into ShipStation, or Pull Directly From It

Which model fits depends on where your orders actually originate.

  • Aggregation (Most Common)

InfiPlex consolidates orders from 130+ channels and sends shipment-ready orders into ShipStation for label generation.

  • Direct Pull (Large Warehouses)

InfiPlex pulls orders straight from ShipStation via API — filtered by order status if needed — and sets tracking on those orders back in ShipStation via API.

Your carrier setup, unchanged

Rate Shopping & Multi-Carrier Accounts

ShipStation's rate comparison and carrier account management is exactly why sellers keep it — InfiPlex doesn't touch that layer.

  • Your Accounts, Your Rates

Orders sent to ShipStation use your existing negotiated carrier rates and account settings — InfiPlex doesn't insert its own carrier logic into that step.

  • Batch Shipping Still Works

Orders InfiPlex sends to ShipStation are available for batch processing the same way any ShipStation order would be.

  • Cost Visibility Depends on Your Plan

Shipment and tracking data syncs back into InfiPlex; cost-specific reporting depends on what ShipStation returns through its API for your specific plan.

What’s included

Everything the ShipStation integration handles for you

  • Multichannel Order Aggregation

Orders from 130+ channels pull into one queue, ready to send to ShipStation — something ShipStation's own per-channel connections don't do alone.

  • Or Pull Directly From ShipStation

Large warehouses often flip the model: InfiPlex pulls orders straight from ShipStation via API, filtered by order status if needed, and sets tracking back on those orders via API.

  • Your Existing Carrier Accounts

Rate shopping and label generation in ShipStation use your negotiated rates and settings, unchanged.

  • Real-Time Inventory Sync

One pool across every channel you supply, with per-SKU Safety Stock to prevent overselling while ShipStation prints labels.

  • Automatic Tracking Distribution

Once ShipStation generates a label, tracking flows back to the exact channel the order came from — no manual matching.

  • Batch Shipping Compatible

Orders InfiPlex sends are available for your existing batch label workflow, unchanged.

  • Works Alongside 3PLs

Route some orders to ShipStation and others to a connected 3PL, all reconciled in the same inventory pool.
