BackMarket Integration FAQs: refurbished electronics, growing fast
BackMarket is the leading global marketplace for professionally refurbished electronics, connecting certified refurbishers with a rapidly growing base of buyers who'd rather not pay full price for a new device. The InfiPlex™ Inventory & Order Management System (OMS) connects your BackMarket seller account so orders pull in automatically, inventory stays synced with every other channel, and shipping runs through 100+ carriers or your 3PL.
The InfiPlex BackMarket integration connects your BackMarket seller account to the InfiPlex Inventory & Order Management System. Orders pull in automatically, inventory syncs in real time across every channel you sell on, and shipments route through your warehouse or a 3PL with tracking posted back to BackMarket.
Setup is quick and simple: after you sign up for InfiPlex, our USA-based team provisions your OMS site within 1–2 business days and works with you to authorize the connection from your BackMarket seller account. There's nothing to install and no developer needed.
Once your BackMarket seller account is approved and active, most sellers are live on InfiPlex in 1–3 business days — the connection itself completes quickly, with the remaining time going to SKU mapping and shipping configuration.
BackMarket accepts applications directly from professional refurbishers who can meet its certification, quality, and warranty requirements. Once approved, InfiPlex connects your seller account during your normal onboarding.
Yes — BackMarket vets sellers as professional refurbishers rather than accepting arbitrary third-party listings, and requires a minimum warranty period on listed devices; specific certification requirements are set by BackMarket and are worth confirming directly during application.
InfiPlex pulls new orders from your BackMarket seller account approximately every 15 minutes — faster if needed — landing in the same queue as your other connected channels, ready to pick, pack, and ship.
Yes — print labels across 100+ carriers, including UPS, FedEx, DHL, and USPS with Commercial Plus pricing, directly from the OMS. Tracking posts back to the BackMarket order automatically.
Yes — the OMS routes BackMarket orders to a connected 3PL or WMS via the 3PL Connector, with tracking and inventory reconciled automatically once the 3PL ships.
That's the core of the product: BackMarket joins the same order queue as Amazon, eBay, Newegg, and 130+ other integrations, so your team works from one screen instead of switching between seller portals.
Yes — BackMarket's minimum warranty requirements mean returns and warranty claims are a bigger part of the operational picture than on some marketplaces; our team can help map your warranty and returns workflow to your BackMarket obligations during onboarding.
Yes, InfiPlex is fully compatible with Back Market IMEI Number Management. Reference our Back Market IMEI Number management page to reference the process to submit IMEI numbers on shipment information.
Part of the InfiPlex configuration is defining user access for each warehouse. Below are the different roles currently availabe for set-up.
Main Admin - Full Access
Main Admin accounts will have full access to view and manage orders and inventory levels for all warehouses.
Warehouse Admin - Warehouse Only Access
Warehouse Admin accounts will have access to view and manage orders for their specific warehouse only. If needed, a Warehouse Admin can also be given access to manually update inventory levels.
Yes, InfiPlex can retrieve shipping labels from Back Market using Back Ship. Labels are directly pulled into InfiPlex to make shipping a seamless process

Inventory Sync & Availability
How InfiPlex keeps BackMarket inventory accurate against every other channel.
InfiPlex maintains one master inventory pool, and every sale on any channel — BackMarket, Amazon, eBay, or a wholesale order — updates available quantities everywhere in real time, which is what prevents overselling.
Use the built-in Inventory Tool for direct edits, the Inventory Upload tool for spreadsheet-based changes, scheduled FTP feeds, or automated pulls from supplier systems. One update propagates to BackMarket and every other connected channel.
Yes — condition-specific SKUs (different grades of refurbished units) sync at the SKU level like any other variant, so grading tiers don't oversell against each other across channels.
BackMarket has reported growing at double-digit rates year over year, reflecting a broader circular-economy shift as more consumers choose refurbished devices over new ones.
Yes — BackMarket has continued expanding US city-level marketing (including newer markets beyond its established New York base), with reported growth rates outpacing the company's overall average in some newer US markets, though the refurbished category still has lower adoption in the US than internationally.
Many refurbishers run BackMarket alongside eBay and Newegg, all sharing the same inventory pool — different marketplaces reach somewhat different refurbished-electronics buyer segments.
BackMarket has expanded into B2B refurbished electronics sales in some markets; if that's part of your business, discuss current B2B program availability directly with BackMarket, and InfiPlex can connect that alongside your consumer marketplace account on the same inventory pool.
InfiPlex tracks inventory and order data that feeds into your connected accounting system (such as QuickBooks Online); detailed refurbishment cost accounting itself typically lives in your accounting or ERP system rather than the OMS layer.

BackMarket Integration Pricing & Plans
What connecting BackMarket to InfiPlex costs, and which plan fits.
BackMarket connects on every InfiPlex plan. Basic Starter is $49.99/month with up to 2,000 SKUs at $0.50 per order; Growth Starter is $499.99/month with 10,000 SKUs and 1,000 orders included ($0.10 per additional order); Growth Pro is $999.99/month with 100,000 SKUs and 10,000 orders included ($0.05 per additional order). Full details are on the Pricing page.
If BackMarket plus a channel or two is your footprint, Basic Starter comfortably covers it; move to Growth Starter once combined order volume grows or you want the Marketplace Repricer and API access.
No — BackMarket is a standard included integration. You pay your InfiPlex plan and per-order fees only; BackMarket's own commission structure and any monthly fees are set and billed by BackMarket separately.
Growth packages carry a 3-month minimum commitment and Partner packages a 12-month term; Basic Starter is month-to-month. Schedule a demo and we'll scope the right plan against your channel mix.
BackMarket operates across multiple countries and handles its own payout currency and schedule per its seller agreement; InfiPlex syncs the order and revenue data from those sales into your connected accounting system, while payout mechanics remain BackMarket's to manage.
InfiPlex's inventory sync works the same regardless of which BackMarket country markets you're active in; expanding your BackMarket seller account to additional countries is a BackMarket-side decision, and InfiPlex reconciles whatever markets you activate against one inventory pool.

Not selling on BackMarket yet? Reach a fast-growing refurbished electronics audience
BackMarket accepts applications from professional, certified refurbishers who can meet its quality and warranty standards — third-party refurbishers apply directly through BackMarket to list on BackMarket.com. Once your seller account is approved, InfiPlex connects it alongside your existing channels within days.
BackMarket doesn't refurbish devices itself — it aggregates certified professional refurbishers on one marketplace, connecting them to a large and growing buyer base across dozens of countries. InfiPlex connects your BackMarket seller account so orders pull into the same queue as every other channel, ship from your warehouse or 3PL, and reconcile against one real-time inventory pool that also covers any new-condition channels you run.
The InfiPlex BackMarket sync rail: orders from your BackMarket seller account flow into the OMS, ship from your warehouse or 3PL, and return tracking to BackMarket — while inventory stays reconciled across every other channel in one pool.
