Lowe's Integration FAQs: vendor EDI and the new Marketplace, one queue
Lowe's reaches suppliers two ways: as a traditional EDI vendor replenishing stores and distribution centers, and — since Lowe's Marketplace launched in December 2024 and expanded through a 2025 partnership with Mirakl — through an approved third-party seller marketplace on Lowes.com. The InfiPlex™ Inventory & Order Management System (OMS) connects either relationship (or both) so orders pull in automatically, tracking flows back fast, and inventory stays synced with every other channel.
The InfiPlex Lowe's integration connects your Lowe's relationship — whether that's an EDI vendor account, a Lowe's Marketplace seller account, or both — to the InfiPlex Inventory & Order Management System. Orders pull in automatically, ship from your warehouse or 3PL, and the required tracking or EDI documents post back, while inventory stays synced with every other channel you run.
Lowe's Marketplace, launched in December 2024 and expanded through a 2025 partnership with Mirakl, lets approved third-party sellers list products directly on Lowes.com and fulfill orders themselves (seller-fulfilled), separate from the traditional wholesale vendor relationship where Lowe's buys inventory from you directly and resells it.
Yes — both paths require Lowe's approval first: EDI vendor status through Lowe's supplier registration and review process, or Marketplace seller status through Lowe's vetting for the Mirakl-powered platform. InfiPlex connects whichever relationship you already have.
Our USA-based team configures the connection with you during onboarding — EDI document mapping for vendor relationships, or API credentials for Marketplace accounts. There's nothing to install on your end.
Your OMS site is provisioned within 1–2 business days. EDI vendor setups generally take longer than a Marketplace connection because retailer-side EDI testing is involved; Marketplace seller connections typically fall within the standard 1–3 business day window.

Order Management: Vendor EDI & Marketplace Orders
How Lowe's orders — EDI or Marketplace — move into InfiPlex and back out with confirmation.
InfiPlex pulls EDI 850 purchase orders from Lowe's approximately every 15 minutes, landing in the same queue as your other retailer and marketplace orders, ready to route to a warehouse or 3PL.
Marketplace seller orders pull in the same way marketplace orders do on any other channel — about every 15 minutes — with line items and shipping details intact, ready for you to fulfill directly.
Yes — once an EDI vendor order ships, InfiPlex generates and transmits the required 856 Advance Ship Notice and 810 invoice back to Lowe's automatically, along with order acknowledgments (855) within Lowe's required window, keeping your vendor account compliant without manual EDI work.
Automatically — whether you ship from your own warehouse across 100+ carriers or through a connected 3PL, InfiPlex posts the tracking number back to the Marketplace order, keeping your seller performance metrics accurate.
Yes — the OMS routes both EDI vendor orders and Marketplace seller orders to a connected 3PL or WMS via the 3PL Connector, with the appropriate confirmation generated automatically once the 3PL ships.
Part of the InfiPlex configuration is defining user access for each warehouse. Below are the different roles currently availabe for set-up.
Main Admin - Full Access
Main Admin accounts will have full access to view and manage orders and inventory levels for all warehouses.
Warehouse Admin - Warehouse Only Access
Warehouse Admin accounts will have access to view and manage orders for their specific warehouse only. If needed, a Warehouse Admin can also be given access to manually update inventory levels.
InfiPlex maintains one master inventory pool, and every sale on any channel — Lowe's vendor orders, Marketplace orders, or any other retailer — updates available quantities everywhere in real time, which is what prevents overselling or committing stock you can't ship.
Yes — per-channel buffers hold back a safety quantity for Lowe's commitments, configurable independently for EDI vendor orders versus Marketplace orders if you run both.
Use the built-in Inventory Tool for direct edits, the Inventory Upload tool for spreadsheet-based changes, scheduled FTP feeds, or automated pulls from supplier systems. One update propagates to Lowe's and every other connected channel.
Yes — where your vendor agreement requires proactive inventory availability updates via EDI 846, InfiPlex's real-time inventory pool feeds that document automatically, keeping Lowe's informed without manual reporting.
Yes — the OMS tracks stock across multiple warehouses and 3PLs and routes orders to the right source, which matters for home-improvement suppliers who often carry bulky or freight-shipped goods positioned regionally.
Section 4 of 5 · Two paths, explained
Lowe's Vendor EDI vs. Lowe's Marketplace
How the two Lowe's supplier relationships differ, and which one you might have.
An EDI vendor sells wholesale to Lowe's, which then owns the products and resells them in stores and online — orders arrive as traditional purchase orders over EDI. A Lowe's Marketplace seller lists their own products directly on Lowes.com through the Mirakl-powered platform and fulfills orders themselves (seller-fulfilled), similar to a third-party marketplace seller elsewhere.
Very — it launched in December 2024, with Lowe's announcing a partnership with Mirakl in May 2025 specifically to accelerate its growth and expand the seller assortment across categories like furniture, home décor, and tools.
Yes — Lowe's has stated that customers can return Marketplace items to any of its 1,700+ store locations nationwide, which is a meaningful service-level detail for sellers evaluating the program.
At launch, Lowe's indicated the Marketplace would focus on sellers shipping domestic inventory from within the US rather than international shipping — confirm current eligibility directly with Lowe's, since marketplace programs commonly expand scope over time.
Yes — some suppliers sell wholesale to Lowe's as a vendor while also running a Marketplace seller account for products or SKUs Lowe's doesn't stock directly. InfiPlex connects both relationships independently while sharing the same inventory pool.
Both launched as approved third-party seller programs for major home-improvement retailers, with Home Depot's marketplace further along and Lowe's more recently expanded via its Mirakl partnership; sellers evaluating both often apply to each independently since approval, categories, and terms are set separately by each retailer.
Not necessarily — EDI network requirements (VAN, protocol, document specifics) are set independently by each retailer, so a vendor supplying both Lowe's and Home Depot typically maintains separate EDI configurations for each, which InfiPlex sets up individually during onboarding.
Section 5 of 5 · Plans & costs
Lowe's Integration Pricing & Plans
What connecting Lowe's to InfiPlex costs, and which plan fits.
Lowe's connects on every InfiPlex plan, whether as an EDI vendor connection or a Marketplace seller connection. Basic Starter is $49.99/month with up to 2,000 SKUs at $0.50 per order; Growth Starter is $499.99/month with 10,000 SKUs and 1,000 orders included ($0.10 per additional order); Growth Pro is $999.99/month with 100,000 SKUs and 10,000 orders included ($0.05 per additional order). Full details are on the Pricing page.
EDI vendor connections may carry retailer-required VAN costs depending on your specific setup, though InfiPlex can often significantly reduce or eliminate those costs compared to a standalone EDI provider. Marketplace seller connections don't carry separate EDI VAN costs since they run over API rather than traditional EDI.
Suppliers managing both an EDI vendor relationship and a Marketplace seller account, often alongside Home Depot or other EDI retailers, tend to fit well on Growth Starter or Growth Pro, both of which include ERP connections like NetSuite on Growth Pro.
Growth packages carry a 3-month minimum commitment and Partner packages a 12-month term; Basic Starter is month-to-month. Schedule a demo and we'll scope the right plan against your Lowe's relationship and overall channel mix.
Connect the rest of your stack
Pair Lowe's with the systems you already run
InfiPlex connects Lowe's with 130+ marketplaces, carts, shipping platforms, 3PLs, WMS, and ERP systems — and our Growth Packages include building new API integrations you need at no additional cost.
Lowe's suppliers fall into two groups that InfiPlex handles differently but through the same hub: traditional vendors replenishing stores and DCs over EDI, and Lowe's Marketplace sellers listing products directly on Lowes.com through the Mirakl-powered platform and fulfilling orders themselves. InfiPlex pulls orders from whichever relationship you have into one queue, ships them through your warehouse or 3PL, and keeps inventory synced across Lowe's and every other channel you supply.
The InfiPlex Lowe's sync rail: whether an order arrives as an EDI vendor purchase order or a Lowe's Marketplace seller order, it flows into the OMS, ships from your warehouse or 3PL, and returns tracking or the required EDI documents — while inventory stays reconciled across every retailer and channel you supply.
