InfiPlex Inventory & Order Management System (OMS) records a serial number against any item on an order, scanned or typed during picking. Serial numbers can be pre-loaded so pickers select from a list instead of typing. Lot, serial, and IMEI tracking together are covered in Lot, Serial, and IMEI Number Management.
Pre-loading Serial Numbers
Go to Inventory > Serial #. Add one with the green Add Serial Number button, or bulk-load with the upload file. Required columns are serial_number and sku; optional columns are lot_number, model, color, condition, notes, userid, user_full_name, warehouse_order_id, warehouse_order_name.
For manual picking, the serial number and SKU are enough.
