Amazon FBA Integration

Last Updated: Oct 8, 2026

The InfiPlex Order Management System (OMS) connects directly to your Amazon FBA account over the SP-API. The connection identifies your FBA SKUs, reads your FBA stock by SKU into its own InfiPlex warehouse, keeps that count current, and sends orders from your other channels to FBA for delivery. FBA is one of the fulfillment-side inventory sources covered in the multichannel inventory sync guide, alongside Walmart WFS and TikTok Shop FBT.

Amazon FBA Set-up

Amazon FBA integration is located in the Shop > Settings > Amazon Settings area. To pull your FBA SKU and inventory list, make sure the amazon_fba_enabled setting says yes, and choose the InfiPlex warehouse that holds your FBA stock in the FBA warehouse setting. If no warehouse is selected, the first warehouse in the system is used. Your Amazon account must already be connected through the Amazon SP-API connection set-up.

How FBA Inventory Is Read

FBA inventory is a read, not just a push. InfiPlex pulls the fulfillable quantity for every FBA SKU from the FBA Inventory API and writes it into the FBA warehouse you selected, so FBA stock sits as its own location next to your own warehouses, any 3PL, and any other fulfillment network. You see the FBA count per SKU on the Inventory page and in every inventory tool and report, and the restock alert math includes it.

  • Read by SKU, per location. Each FBA SKU carries its own quantity in the FBA warehouse. Stock you hold yourself, at a 3PL, or at another fulfillment network stays in its own warehouse, never blended into the FBA count.
  • Separate from AWD. Units sitting in Amazon Warehousing and Distribution are read separately and never counted as sellable. See the AWD inventory sync guide.
  • What Amazon receives. The quantity InfiPlex sends to Amazon for your merchant-fulfilled offers comes from the warehouses you choose, either totaled into one value or synced 1:1 per warehouse to Amazon Supply Sources. The FBA warehouse is normally excluded from that send, since Amazon already holds the FBA count. See multi-location inventory setup for Amazon sellers.
  • Other channels. Whether your Walmart, Shopify, or TikTok Shop offers include FBA stock is a per-channel warehouse selection. Many clients include it so a unit can sell anywhere and ship from FBA through Multi-Channel Fulfillment; others keep FBA stock Amazon-only.
  • Sending stock to FBA. Inbound shipment plans and replenishment are covered in the FBA inbound shipments integration guide.

The same read-by-SKU pattern applies to Walmart WFS and TikTok Shop FBT: each network's stock lands in its own InfiPlex warehouse, by SKU, and each channel's send is enabled separately.

Amazon FBA Order Flow

It is important that you understand the order flow when you are using FBA. In most cases, there is nothing you need to do with an order that has FBA SKUs on it. However, some orders could have a combination of FBA and non-FBA SKUs, or FBA may return with a message saying they couldn't ship the SKU for a variety of reasons. In those instances, you must review the order and determine how you are going to manually fulfill the order.

  • Amazon.com Order: you do not need to do anything with these orders since they will automatically be fulfilled by FBA.
  • Webstore Orders: FBA SKU's are automatically put into a Package within the system and are then sent to FBA for shipping. A note will be added to the order stating that the SKU was sent to FBA for shipment. Amazon's response will also be recorded in a note when that is received. If it is a tracking number, then the tracking number is added to the package and the order is set as Fully Shipped. If you have the auto_send_un_sent_tracking_emails setting set to yes, then the user will automatically receive their Order Has Shipped email. Otherwise you must manually send that. If the system gets an error response from FBA, that information is added to a note and the Package remains un-shipped. You must at that point intervene and manually ship the package yourself from your own stock or go back into your FBA Seller Central area and manually ship the item through Amazon's tools.
  • Other Marketplaces like eBay or Groupon Stores: Other marketplaces work the same way the Webstore orders work. Once the orders are pulled into the Webstore or OMS, the FBA process described for Webstore Orders takes over. Once the system receives a tracking number back from FBA, that tracking number will then be sent back to the originating marketplace to finalize the order.

Amazon FBA and UPS WorldShip

The UPS WorldShip option allows you to download your orders into WorldShip for processing and then upload the tracking informaiton back into the Webstore or OMS. The order processes is coded to check and see if the SKU is an FBA SKU and if it comes from Amazon.com.

  • Amazon.com Orders: If the order is an Amazon.com order then the system will not create a package for that order. It is assumed that FBA is taking care of that item since it is an FBA SKU. The UPS WorldShip integration requires that the auto_create_package_on_order setting is set to yes so packages are automatically created. This FBA check stops the package from being created. Without the package being created there is no Package for WorldShip to download and process.
  • All Other Orders: FBA SKU's are put into their own Package and flagged as an FBA Package. FBA Packages are not included in the WorldShip package download. Please note that if for some reason FBA does not ship that SKU, you will need to manually intervene to ship the item. To ship the item, you can use FBA shipping tools within Seller Central or delete the existing package and recreate it to pull it into WorldShip to ship it yourself.

Removing Amazon FBA

Some marketplaces do not allow you to ship orders using Amazon FBA. If you have to remove your FBA set-up within a SiteArea (SA), please follow these steps to ensure that none of your SKUs are flagged as FBA SKUs.

  • If totally removing Amazon from the SiteArea, then first remove the Amazon keys from the Settings > Amazon settings. If you are keeping your Amazon connection but no longer using FBA, then do not delete your Amazon keys and proceed to the next step.
  • Next go to Inventory > Amazon FBA and Delete all FBA SKUs using the Red Delete button
  • Last, go to the Settings > Amazon settings and turn FBA Off.

Amazon FBA Questions

Does InfiPlex read FBA stock, or only push inventory to Amazon?
Both. FBA fulfillable quantity is pulled by SKU from the FBA Inventory API into the FBA warehouse you select, and inventory for your merchant-fulfilled Amazon offers is pushed from the warehouses you choose.

Is FBA stock stored as a separate location in InfiPlex?
Yes. It lands in its own InfiPlex warehouse, visible per SKU, separate from your own warehouses, any 3PL, and other fulfillment networks such as Walmart WFS and TikTok Shop FBT.

Where does Amazon FBA stock go if I do not pick a warehouse?
Into the first warehouse in the system. Pick a dedicated FBA warehouse in the Amazon settings if you want it kept apart from your own stock.

Can FBA stock be sent to my other channels?
Yes, per channel. Each channel's inventory send selects which InfiPlex warehouses feed it, so FBA stock can be included for channels you fulfill through Multi-Channel Fulfillment and excluded elsewhere.
