ShipStation + Target DVS Integration: EDI orders, shipped your way
Target's Direct Vendor Ship (DVS) program runs on EDI, and ShipStation on its own doesn't speak EDI or handle multiple warehouses. InfiPlex sits between the two: it pulls Target's EDI 850 purchase orders, routes each one to the right warehouse, hands it to ShipStation for label creation on your own carrier accounts, then turns the tracking number ShipStation generates into the EDI 856 and 810 documents Target requires.

How this integration works
Target requires DVS suppliers to run standard EDI: an 850 purchase order arrives, a 856 advance ship notice confirms what shipped, and an 810 invoice bills for it. ShipStation is built for labels and carrier rates, not EDI compliance or warehouse-level routing. InfiPlex bridges the gap: it ingests the 850, decides which of your warehouses should fulfill it if you run more than one, and passes a normal order into ShipStation. Once you print the label in ShipStation, InfiPlex reads back the tracking number and carrier, then automatically generates and transmits the 856 and 810 to Target so nothing has to be re-keyed by hand.
