InfiPlex Inventory & Order Management System (OMS) connects to your Shop Houzz marketplace seller account through the current Shop Houzz APIs. Once connected, InfiPlex pulls Houzz orders, sets them to be charged, sends tracking back when you ship, and keeps Houzz inventory in step with your other channels.
Before You Start
You need an approved Shop Houzz Marketplace account with an active selling portal. If you do not have one yet, apply for a Houzz seller account. You also need two things from Houzz:
- An API token. Sign into your Houzz selling dashboard, open Settings on the left, and use the API area to apply for a token. Houzz Support reviews applications weekly and emails you the approval with documentation.
- Your Vendor OB ID (id_vendor_ob). Houzz supplies this value. Open a support ticket with Houzz to request it.
Houzz Set-up Steps
- Open the Houzz settings in your OMS. Log into your InfiPlex OMS site and go to Settings > Integrations > Houzz.
- houzz_client_id: your Houzz v3 client key
- houzz_client_secret: your Houzz v3 client secret
- houzz_id_vendor_ob: the Vendor OB ID from Houzz Support
- houzz_pull_orders: set to Yes to pull Houzz orders into the OMS
- houzz_send_tracking_numbers: set to Yes to send tracking back to Houzz
- houzz_soh_enabled: set to Yes to send inventory levels to Houzz for SKUs flagged as Sell On Houzz
- houzz_soh_pricing_enabled: set to Yes only if you want InfiPlex to send pricing to Houzz for those SKUs
- Save. InfiPlex starts checking Houzz for new orders on the next cycle.
Automatic SKU Association
Every SKU that arrives on a Houzz order is checked against your OMS. If the SKU does not exist, InfiPlex adds it. If it exists but is not yet associated to Houzz, InfiPlex associates it. That association is what allows inventory updates to flow back to Houzz for the SKU, so new products start syncing without a manual step. You can still flag SKUs as sold on Houzz ahead of the first order.
How Houzz Orders Are Charged and Pulled
InfiPlex sets each new Houzz order to be charged automatically, so you no longer manage that step in the Houzz portal.
Occasionally a Houzz order fails the card charge and is handled by the Houzz team. That can take days, and by the time the order becomes active it has aged out of the regular order check. When that happens, go to Sell On > Houzz and click Request Past Orders. InfiPlex reviews and processes every Houzz order from the past seven days.
Set-up Support
Contact InfiPlex with any Houzz set-up questions. Support is included with every InfiPlex package, and our team can review your first Houzz orders with you.
