Guide · Temu local sellers on InfiPlex

Run Temu with an AI agent on InfiPlex: handling time, tracking uploads, and sell-through spikes watched without watching Seller Center

Temu's local seller program scores you continuously: ship inside 1 to 2 business days, upload valid tracking within 24 hours of dispatch, keep on-time shipment above 95% and seller cancellations near zero. The score decides how much traffic your listings get. InfiPlex already pulls Temu orders about every 15 minutes, confirms tracking the moment a label is bought, and holds per-channel buffers against Temu's velocity through its Temu integration. An AI agent on the InfiPlex MCP server covers what a person used to: which orders are near the handling limit, which tracking sends failed, which SKU just sold 200 units in an hour and is about to cancel on another channel.

  • Handling ClockUnshipped Temu orders by hours since placement, expedited first, from one question.
  • Tracking VerifiedThe agent checks the shop log for every Temu tracking send that failed, before the 24-hour upload window closes.
  • Spike ResponseChange history on a SKU shows the sell-through; the agent recommends a buffer or a stock move before the next channel oversells.

Why Temu

Temu measures timestamps. The agent reads them first

A late Temu order is late because a timestamp says so; nobody reviews it. That is why the fixes in the local seller fulfillment requirements guide are process fixes, and why the useful questions are all about time and stock: how old is the oldest unshipped order, did tracking reach Temu, how fast is this SKU moving. InfiPlex holds every one of those answers; the agent asks the instance and hands them back with order ids attached.

What your team asks the agent Tools it calls What it hands back
"Which Temu orders are past 24 hours and not shipped?" order_search on the Temu channel, not fully shipped, oldest first Order ids, hours since placement, ship-to state, and the warehouse each routed to
"Did every Temu shipment from yesterday get tracking to Temu?" order_search with marketplace_fulfillment_error 1 on the Temu channel, then log_search on the Temu Send Tracking types Orders whose tracking Temu rejected, with the error text from the log
"How fast is SKU HB-2201 selling on Temu right now?" inventory_change_history_get, order_search with product_sku on the Temu channel Units out per hour over the last day and the stock left in each warehouse
"What is our Temu buffer set to?" shop_setting_search on the Temu connection settings The buffer value and what it controls, read-only
"What is at or below reorder point after this weekend?" inventory_restock_list SKU, total stock, reorder point, lead time, safety stock
"Did the Temu order pull run in the last hour?" log_search on the Temu Get Orders types Last successful pull time, or the failed pull and its message

Every tool above is documented on the tools reference. The Temu API order lifecycle explains what InfiPlex is doing underneath each answer.

Handling time

The 1 to 2 day window, checked before it closes

InfiPlex pulls Temu orders continuously and routes each one to a warehouse at pull time. What no system does for you is notice the order that stalled: stock was in the wrong warehouse, a carton went missing, a weekend intervened. A shift lead on a warehouse key at 2 PM:

you Show me Temu orders older than 20 hours that are not shipped, expedited first. tool order_search {"order_source_eq":"<the Temu channel exactly as stored>","fully_shipped":0,"order_status_neq":"canceled","has_tracking":0,"sort":"shop_orderid ASC","just_basic_order_data_results":1,"limit":50} result 4 orders agent Four Temu orders are past 20 hours: 4419011 (expedited, 1 line, ship-to CA, 22h, routed to Reno), 4419034 (2 lines, TX, 21h, Reno), 4419040 (1 line, NY, 20h, Columbus), 4419052 (1 line, GA, 20h, Columbus). The expedited one is inside 2 hours of Temu's 24-hour expedited limit. you Why did 4419040 go to Columbus? We have that SKU in Reno too. tool order_warehouse_routing_explanation_get {"orderid":4419040} agent Routing ran at 16:12 yesterday. Reno had 0 of GL-410 available at that moment after the Temu buffer, so the zip rule sent it to Columbus, which had 24. Reno has since received 60. Want a note on the order for the Columbus pick team, or the status set to needs review? you Note it: ship today, Temu handling limit is 4 PM. tool order_note_create {"orderid":4419040,"order_note":"Ship today. Temu handling limit 4 PM."} agent Note added. It is internal; Temu and the customer do not see it.

Notes and status changes write directly, because they never reach Temu. Tracking is a previewed write: the first call returns a plain-English preview and a token, the second executes and InfiPlex confirms to Temu. That is the gate described in how AI agent writes are protected.

Tracking uploads

Tracking that did not reach Temu, found the same day

InfiPlex confirms tracking to Temu as soon as a label is bought, and the shop log records every send, including the ones Temu rejected: an unsupported carrier, a malformed number, an order Temu had already closed. Temu's 24-hour upload window means a rejected send discovered next week is a metric miss. An agent on a read-only key turns that into a daily question.

you Which Temu tracking sends failed in the last 24 hours? tool order_search {"order_source_eq":"<Temu channel>","marketplace_fulfillment_error":1,"just_basic_order_data_results":1} tool log_types_get {} tool log_search {"log_type":<Temu Send Tracking: Failed>,"start_date":"2026-09-27 02:00:00 PM","end_date":"2026-09-28 02:00:00 PM","limit":50} result 2 entries agent Two failed: order 4418977 at 09:41, carrier code not accepted by Temu (recorded as "OnTrac"); order 4418990 at 11:05, tracking number failed validation (17 characters, looks like a UPS number missing the leading 1Z). Both orders show shipped in InfiPlex, so the parcels are moving; Temu just does not know yet. Want me to pull both orders so you can re-record with the corrected carrier and number?
Re-record, previewed

On a warehouse key the agent calls order_tracking_create with the corrected carrier name and number, shows the preview, and executes on confirm. InfiPlex sends the corrected tracking to Temu from there.

Carrier hygiene

Ask "which carriers did we record on Temu orders this week" and the agent tallies the shipment records from order_search with label_created_start_date set to Monday, so an unsupported regional carrier shows up before it fails ten times.

Pull health

"When did the last Temu order pull succeed" is a log_search on the Get Orders types. A pull that has been failing for an hour is a handling-time problem in the making.

Order questions from the Seller Center inbox

"Where is Temu order PO-211-8845?" The agent finds it by marketplace number with order_search text_search, then order_get returns tracking and ship date for the reply.

Velocity

A Temu spike, seen in the change history before it cancels elsewhere

Temu promotions sell through a listing's stock in hours. InfiPlex's per-channel buffers and multi-warehouse sync keep that from overselling stock your Amazon and Walmart listings share, which is why the multichannel inventory sync article calls out buffers for Temu specifically. The agent adds the early warning: the change history on a SKU shows the run as it happens.

you HB-2201 is on a Temu promotion today. How is it moving and where does stock stand? tool inventory_change_history_get {"sku":"HB-2201"} tool inventory_get {"sku":"HB-2201"} tool order_search {"product_sku":"HB-2201","order_source":"<Temu channel>","date_created_greater_equal_than":"2026-09-28 12:00:00 AM","just_count":1} agent 214 Temu orders for HB-2201 since midnight, 61 of them in the last hour. Stock is 138 total: Reno 122, Columbus 16. At the current rate Reno is empty in about two hours. The Temu buffer on the connection is 5, so Temu will stop selling at 5 remaining, but Amazon and Walmart are drawing on the same 138. You could raise the Temu buffer now, or move Columbus stock forward. Both need a key with the matching write scope; I can show you the current buffer setting on this key.

Raising a buffer is a setting write, so it needs a key with Write Settings and MCP Allow Setting Writes; a stock move is an inventory write behind a preview. On a read-only key the agent reports and recommends, which is usually what an account manager wants at 10 AM on a promotion day. The restock alerts article covers the reorder point the restock list uses.

Keys by role

Three keys, three levels of autonomy

The MCP server publishes a tool only when the key carries its scope, so the key is the whole permission model. Create each at Tools > Admin API on your instance with MCP Enabled, and send the URL and header from the set-up guide.

Account manager key: read-only

Read Orders, Read Inventory, Read Warehouse, Read Log, Read Settings. Both MCP flags No. Every question on this page works, including reading the Temu buffer; nothing can change. Credential settings return only whether a value is set.

Warehouse key: confirm-in-chat

Add Write Orders and Write Inventory. Tracking and inventory changes stop at a preview the person approves; notes and status write directly. The pack station's key.

Scheduled agent key: autonomous

Same scopes as the warehouse key, used by an unattended agent instructed to complete the preview-and-confirm flow itself. The autonomous fulfillment agent guide records the morning's tracking from the carrier export; the failed sync watch agent checks the Temu tracking sends every morning and writes the list.

Prompts

Prompts that work on a Temu instance

Handling time, warehouse
  • "List unshipped Temu orders oldest first with hours since placement and the warehouse each routed to."
  • "Which of those have a ship-by date of today?"
  • "Why did 4419040 route to Columbus?"
  • "Set 4419034 to needs review and add a note: address needs a suite number."
Tracking
  • "Which Temu orders have a marketplace fulfillment error, and what does the log say?"
  • "Record tracking on 4418977: UPS Ground, 1Z999AA10123456784, all lines, one carton."
  • "Which carriers did we record on Temu orders this week, with counts?"
  • "Where is Temu order PO-211-8845?"
Velocity and stock
  • "How many Temu orders for HB-2201 since midnight, and how many in the last hour?"
  • "Show the change history for HB-2201 today."
  • "What is at or below reorder point right now?"
  • "What is the Temu inventory buffer set to?"
Connection health
  • "When did the last Temu order pull succeed?"
  • "Is inventory push enabled on the Temu connection?"
  • "Which Temu log types exist on this instance?"

The agent reads the stored channel name from your order data rather than guessing it, so "Temu" in a prompt resolves to whatever your instance calls that connection. More prompts by role are on the prompts page.

Frequently asked

Questions, answered

Does the agent upload tracking to Temu?

The agent records the shipment in InfiPlex with order_tracking_create, and InfiPlex sends the tracking to Temu through the integration, the same way a shipment recorded in the admin or by a connected shipping tool does. It is a previewed write: preview and token first, execution second, on a key with Write Orders.

Can the agent change the Temu inventory buffer?

Only on a key with Write Settings and MCP Allow Setting Writes turned on, and then behind a preview. On any other key it can read the buffer and recommend a value. Most sellers keep setting writes off and let a person change buffers in the admin.

Can the agent see our Temu Seller Center metrics?

No; the on-time and cancellation rates live in Seller Center. What the agent gives you is the InfiPlex record those rates are computed from: order placement times, ship times, tracking sends and failures, and stock at the moment of each sale. Watching those daily is how the metrics stay green.

How does the agent know a Temu order is expedited?

From the ship-by date InfiPlex stores on the order: order_search with ship_by_end_date set to today returns everything due today, expedited or not, and the shipping method on the order record shows the service level. If your account tags expedited orders, order_tag filters to them directly.

What does a read-only key block?

Everything that writes. Write tools are not published to a key without write scopes, so an agent on a read-only key has no tracking, inventory, note, or setting tool to call. It can read orders, inventory, warehouses, settings, and the log, which covers every question on this page.

Does this cost extra?

No. The MCP server is included with API access on every InfiPlex plan. Keys are unlimited and MCP calls are not metered. Your AI vendor bills model usage.
